Customer-first approach and family welcome, definitely recommended
Pros:

The staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to cater to our needs. The service was exceptional all round, with a family 'at home' feeling. The breakfast was included in the price and was good quality with enough vegetarian options. The onsite restaurant was also good quality with some vegetarian options also available. Strict vegan diet would probably be a little tricker, but I have no doubt the staff would find a way to cater to more restrictive dietary needs. Excellent English (and Spanish) skills from the owner and staff in general made communication a breeze. A well-run hotel that is well-maintained.

Cons:

The pillows were a little uncomfortable (I'm used to more neck support), but also this was not a deal-breaker for a few nights' rest.

Pros:

Camera essenziale ma pulita e con tutto il necessario (non c’è il frigo bar ma non è obbligatorio per un 3 stelle). Colazione di qualità in una bella sala. Posizione ottima rispetto alle nostre necessità.

Cons:

Nonostante la prenotazione fatta con mesi di anticipo non hanno fornito il lettino per il bambino. Ma soprattutto solo due asciugamani nonostante fossimo in 3 (2 adulti+bambino). Alla mia richiesta di uno aggiuntivo ci è stato dato per il primo giorno ma non più per il secondo.

Pros:

Ruime kamer, fijne douche, uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, en voor de kleintjes een leuk speelhoekje op de gang.

Cons:

Totaal niet geslapen vanwege het geluid van een airco die continu aansloeg, waarschijnlijk in een lege kamer naast de onze (want wij hadden het apparaat uitgezet).
Schlüsselfeld is niet echt een 'hier moet je zijn'-plek, tenzij je echt van ooievaars houdt, want die zitten hier volop op de daken.

Pros:

Great hotel. Great location. Great breakfast. We have stayed in this hotel on our way back from Italy many times over the last 30 years and can't recommend it high enough. Great rooms and really friendly staff. Every year they try to improve on the previous one.

Pros:

Gastvrijheid, goed eten en een mooie locatie en fijne kamer.

Cons:

Er lagen helaas grote stofvlokken onder de bedden en een gebruikt glas met aangekoekte cola. Voor de rest een heel fijn en prettig hotel.

Prima tussenstop locatie!
Pros:

We hebben hier verbleven op de terugweg vanuit Kroatië. De familiekamer was prima voor een gezin van 5, de airco was een plus. Het ontbijt was prima.

Sowohl im Restaurant (Abendessen) als beim Frühstück glutenfreie Optionen.
Für die Kinder eine gemütliche Spielecke. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und familiäre Atmosphäre.

Lovely restaurant, do not go for the 'upgrade' room

The food in the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast croissants were also amazing.

Cons:

Upon arrival we were immediately told we were getting an upgrade. We were shown to a room in a appartement building outside the hotel. We had to cross a street to get there and it was spacious. However, the interior was outdated, to shower we had to stand in a bathtub. We left our bags in the room and had diner first, because we were famished after a long day travelling. Diner was superb! After dinner, I pointed out that we were not exactly happy with the 'upgrade'. He told me I should have said something earlier, because the room as shown on booking.com was not available anymore. He could offer us a similar room as shown on booking.com but it wouldn't fit the 4 of us. It was a bedroom that would fit 3 of us. The other option was apotheek outdated room in another appartement building. This time on the same side of the street of the hotel, with a separate shower. So I didn't have to stand in a bathtub. It was getting late and we were very tired, so we chose the last room. However, I still felt deceived, if I wanted to stay in an outdated room for +200 euro's I would have chosen a different hotel. These rooms are not shown on booking.com and then giving me an 'upgrade' and afterwards telling me I should have told sooner that I didn't like the upgrade....it was a bit too much. Especially, realizing I spend hours in advance searching for the most relaxing stop location on our way home from Italy. Even when I called to tell the journey was taking longer than expected and we probably would be arriving around 8pm, they told us it was no problem to have dinner till 9. No mention of a so called 'upgrade'....

Pros:

Grundet trafikken, blev vi meget forsinket. Vi kontaktede derfor personalet undervejs - og de tilbød hurtigt hjælp, med indcheckning/nøgle- selvom personalet var gået hjem. 😊

Har intet dårligt.
