A serene and majestic retreat amidst lush tea gardens, offering a memorable stay despite a few service-related hiccups.
Pros:

The property is an absolute delight—serene, majestic, and beautifully nestled amidst 200 acres of lush tea gardens. With so much to experience and enjoy within the resort itself, one never feels the need to step outside. It is the perfect retreat to relax, recharge, and create memorable moments with family and friends. Specially the Chai ki Tapri is a unique experience.

Cons:

The check-in and checkout processes were unnecessarily time-consuming, with considerable confusion among the reception staff. During checkout, the team initially declined to honour the food and beverage discount included in our Booking.com package. After considerable discussion and follow-up, the discount was eventually applied.

Such benefits should be clearly recorded in the hotel’s system in advance, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and hassle-free checkout experience for guests.
Last not the least as the property has multiple restaurants and facilities at Checkin all must be briefed to guests so that the guests can make most during the stay.

Great stay, helpful staff
Pros:

The colonial suite was beyond imagination.... My wife and children were more than happy

Cons:

In room service was very slow, took multiple calls to order and call service staff....
One thing which needs serious attention was that my room was infested with thousand of bees... It was very scary for the children which spoiled the experience....

Need big time training & systematic approach to improve F&B services overall.
Pros:

In room dining was below expectations. Order was delivered in avg 45-60mins yet incomplete order was also delivered. Restaurant also took ages to deliver dessert through it wasn’t so busy then. Rest all was ok.

The property itself is really nice and well maintained

Cons:

The serviceability and hospitality is seriously missing. The staff is all over the place especially coz large group events take place so there is no proper attention given to the other guests

Pros:

It is in an excellent location Rooms are very spacious and balcony is an amazing place for guests to enjoy greenery Bath room with all amenities are also very good

Cons:

Antique painting and photos make the resort more appealing I have stayed in many 5star hotels throughout the world including many taj palace hotels in India but Mayfare Siliguri is one of the best properties

Good, as per price and other top excellent things Breakfast spread was not that good. Quality of food and portion good though. They need to add more varieties of famous dishes of Indian breakfast.
