Excellent 2ème séjour!
Pros:

Tout: le personnel, la propreté ( lava-linge + sèche-linge) les équipements, le petit déjeuner, l’emplacement…

Cons:

La lumière de l’entrée qui s’allume alors qu’on ne vas qu’à la salle de bain, notamment la nuit

Einer der besten Aufenthalte, die ich in Japan je hatte.
Pros:

Gue Lage, man ist zu Fuss schnell im der Innenstadt. Und es liegt sehr ruhig. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr geräumig und supersauber. Auch alles sehr neu.

Cons:

Bisschen Abwechslung beim Frühstück wäre schön gewesen. Aber das Frühstück an sich ist sehr lecker und reichlich.

A nice traditional Japanese room experience, but lacking in comfort, cleanliness, and convenience.

The Japanese-style room was a nice experience and gave us a more traditional feel.

Cons:

However, the daily housekeeping was not thorough enough, and overall we found the cleanliness below our expectations.

We understand that this is a traditional Japanese-style room, but there was nowhere comfortable to sit and lean back. You either have to lie down or sit on the traditional floor cushions without any back support, which is not very comfortable after a long and tiring day.

The location was also quite far from center and metro.

Magnifique lieu pour le petit déjeuner

Cons:

Chambre avec odeur d’humidité très forte et vue sur un mur
Seulement 2 choix tous les jours pour le petit déjeuner : très bien si on reste seulement 1 ou 2 nuits mais nous restions 4 nuits et il aurait été agréable de changer

A refined traditional experience
Pros:

This was my closest experience to traditional Japanese culture and staying. The premises were great. We stayed in the Japanese room and really gave us a glimpse of Japanese traditional accommodation. Kimonos were also provided. The Machiya is in a great neighbourhood and we thoroughly enjoyed our staying

Cons:

Nothing really. Maybe there could be more options for breakfast, having said this I enjoyed both the traditional and European breakfast. Quality was superb

This hotel was fantastic, well located in a quiet street easy walking distance to the Nishiki markets and Pontocho Alley. Staff were fantastic and the provide breakfast a great way to start the, especially for the kids.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter les quartiers de Gion, palais impérial et marché Nishiki.

El hotel en si es muy bonito, muy tradicional. Nosotros éramos 4 y el espacio era más que suficiente. La situación es muy buena, cerca de zonas de interés y restaurantes.

Cons:

Todo nos gustó, aunque es verdad que algo más de variedad en el desayuno hubiera sido genial.

Pros:

Habitación muy amplia y práctica, la primera con suficiente espacio y almacenaje para todo el equipaje. La lavadora y secadora de acceso libre y gratuito es un plus en un viaje como este. Muy amables en todo, desde ayudarnos a gestionar el envío de maletas a otro hotel a prestarnos un secador especial de zapatillas. Tenían la habitación preparada antes de la hora oficial del checkin y nos dejaron subir sin cobrar ningún cargo adicional, lo que hoy no es habitual. Tienen café en la entrada a todas horas. Buena ubicación.

Cons:

La opción de desayuno continental está rica pero no varía con lo que se vuelve repetitiva si pasas ahí varios días.
