We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Continental breakfast was plentiful .
N/A
Not much unfortunately.
Room size.
Soaking wet and moldy wall.
Disgusting shower head.
Food past its best‑before date at breakfast.
Old dirty socks behind the chair.
Wifi did not allow us to visit some pages due to incorrect setup.
First of all, the room did not look anything like the photos. There were stairs immediately after the room door and, very inconveniently, also inside the bathroom. The room was supposed to be small (9 m²), but even with the stairs included, it felt smaller.
Moreover, one of the room’s walls was soaking wet and moldy (see photos). When we contacted the hotel staff, we were told that “it is a new issue and the hotel is full” — both of which seemed questionable at best.
The next day, we found bread past its best‑before date (with visible mold) at breakfast.
Location perfect for our needs
Bed was creaking terribly, every time we moved it woke us up. No curtains on the windows only blind which let the light in.. No hairdryer. Light in bathroom came on by sensor which took a while to go off waking us in the night.Bathroom door would not close properly. Overall these things did not give a restful night. If we had booked for 2 nights we would have checked out after 1 night. Continental breakfast only which is not clearly stated in booking description..
Clean and super location
Easy to book, friendly and no fuss arriving a bit early. Quiet night and breakfast included was all I needed and the coffee good and hot.
Nothing to dislike really.
Tim was a very welcoming host. Our room was quite big, cosy and we could look out to the beautiful old church. Lamphey Hall has a big garden surrounding with lots of possibilities to enjoy a quiet evening outdoors. Dinner at the Inn across the road was excellent.
The interior and presentation.
Staff were friendly and supportive.
Good continental breakfast and honesty box for drinks very unusual and have an air of a well run and safe hotel.
Nothing. The only sad thing is that due to the present economy, the hotel had to run as a self service B&B rather than fully staffed. That is not a negative reflection on the staff or quality of the accommodation, which was excellent.
It’s nicely positioned for the south Pembrookshire area. The property was clean, room clean and tidy, lounge comfortable. Spoke with couple members of staff and both very friendly and helpful on the property and local area.
The property isn’t for everyone as no night staff etc and no restaurant. Breakfast was continental which didn’t bother us it was good and enough. The front door has a number lock however didn’t need to put it in as door wasn’t closed properly by other guests so was on the latch. Could be a problem with security.
Nice position, overlooking countryside. Ample parking. Good size bathroom, with shower and bath. Continental breakfast adequate.
WiFi signal very poor.
No staff at this facility, it’s operated remotely as an air bnb. Inside it’s dark with a foreboding atmosphere. We could not stay here. When we booked there was no mention of any of this.
As above.
Pas d acceuil pour l arrivée, juste un sms donnant le code de la porte d entrée
Excellent location, clean & comfortable
Wifi was very slow and so I couldn’t upload all my pictures
The room was big ,spacious and comfortable. The staff when around were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is now run like an air bnb. Just continental breakfast and no restaraunt . ( as shown on site). Was a bit like the Marie Celeste. As literally seemed like we were the only people there.
Didnt like lack of places to fo out and eat. Literally had to drive to either get take away or find pubs / restaraunts to eat .
The lobby and the garden outside. The rooms were very clean.
Our room smelt of molds and the walls were wet.
