I booked this hotel for a relative and included his name on the booking. The hotel emailed me to contact the front desk as I was not staying at the hotel. I tried calling 6 times over an hour period and the message was 'call back later'. This hotel does not have a reception or front desk service. My relative tried to access the hotel which was locked and then phoned the telephone number displayed on the door. The call was eventually answered by someone with an Indian accent who stated there was no booking with either my name or my relative's name and therefore could not allow access. At 3am the next day the hotel emailed apologising but by then my relative had left the hotel. Appalling service.

Il n'y avait personne. Toutes les portes des chambres étaient ouvertes avec la clé dans la serrure. Nous avons choisi une chambre et bien dormi.
Ce n'est que le lendemain que le responsable était présent.
Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de cette étape.

There are at least 5 standard rooms. At over £100 per night ours had no view, the lower half of the window covered with frosted film, so we could only see sky. When only 2 rooms were occupied such a poor room was uncalled for.

The description is very misleading and incorrect: There is no Bistro and friendly staff (or any staff,) no excellent lunch or evening menu. No food except breakfast. Microwave and crockery is not a kitchen. There is no kettle in the room, but a coffee machine in breakfast room. No evidence of it being family run, (but with  no staff, how would we know?) being part of the OYO Group.

The acknowledgement said that photo ID and credit card will be required on checking in but the owners know the hotel is unstaffed so this is clearly rubbish. Check in was difficult. My email had mentioned a room number but I had not noticed it as I had been told to tell the hotel when I would arrive and provide id so I was unaware there would be no staff to provide my room key. Making contact with OYO's international call centre was laborious and time consuming. We stayed 4 nights and every day there were new guests trying to check in, not knowing room numbers, frustrated, upset, or just using the first room they opened. Thank goodness there was no emergency needing urgent help (via the call centre). Half the time the front door was not locked so security is a problem.

Poor value. Poor breakfast, long life - yoghurt, juice, pastries.

Poor maintenance. no plug for basin. broken blind. no shelves in any furniture.

Check in hätte geschmeidiger verlaufen können. Beim ersten Anruf habe ich noch jemanden erreichen können, bei einer Nachfrage ging aber keiner mehr ans Telefon. Ist halt problematisch, wenn keiner vor Ort ist.

Although I received a code to access the property I didn't receive a room number. Nobody to ask, tried both telephone numbers on the main door but to no avail. Tried the property number but nobody was in. Very stressful time. I was about to walk out & stay elsewhere until a guest came to help me. Told me to just try the room doors & see if one was open & free. Didn't feel right but again nobody around to support. Bathroom had a step as you went in, very easy to forget it was there when using the shower/sink. Mold/watermark on ceiling above shower & room had lots of cobwebs.

Arrived with only a code to get in the house. Not a soul about. No idea which room was ours and after an hour of phoning several numbers which didn't pick up and various emails we finally got a room number.
Then after booking several months ago and making it clear we had mobility problems and asking for a walk in shower, we were put in a 1st floor room with a roll top bath with hand help shower head. We had difficulty showering and getting in and out of the bath!!!!
After complaining I was told 'so sorry for the inconvenience'. Just not good enough.

Decor is a bit dated. In our room there was no hand soap. Half a roll of toilet roll, shower broken. Had to hold the nozzle to shower. Also there is a step into the bathroom, which is dangerous as it's not highlighted that there is a step

Wifi did not allow us to visit some pages due to incorrect setup.
First of all, the room did not look anything like the photos. There were stairs immediately after the room door and, very inconveniently, also inside the bathroom. The room was supposed to be small (9 m²), but even with the stairs included, it felt smaller.
Moreover, one of the room’s walls was soaking wet and moldy (see photos). When we contacted the hotel staff, we were told that “it is a new issue and the hotel is full” — both of which seemed questionable at best.
The next day, we found bread past its best‑before date (with visible mold) at breakfast.

Bed was creaking terribly, every time we moved it woke us up. No curtains on the windows only blind which let the light in.. No hairdryer. Light in bathroom came on by sensor which took a while to go off waking us in the night.Bathroom door would not close properly. Overall these things did not give a restful night. If we had booked for 2 nights we would have checked out after 1 night. Continental breakfast only which is not clearly stated in booking description..
