The luxury room was beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The location was also excellent.
The bed wasn’t comfortable.
Also, unfortunately, our arrival experience was quite disappointing due to the parking attendant. He was rude and unwelcoming from the start. Initially, he approached our car assuming we intended to park there. Once he realized we were only stopping briefly to unload our luggage before the driver left, he began insisting that the hotel and parking area were operated by separate companies.
We stopped directly in front of the hotel entrance, where guests would normally unload their bags. Despite explaining that we only needed a minute to take our luggage out, he raised his voice, communicated poorly, and directed us to stop farther away near a no-parking sign so that the area in front of the hotel would remain clear. His attitude was unnecessarily aggressive and unhelpful.
Afterward, I mentioned the incident to the receptionist. Although she did assist us with the luggage, I was surprised when she laughed after I explained that the parking attendant had been rude. I am not sure what was amusing about the situation.
It was frustrating because allowing hotel guests to briefly unload their luggage directly in front of the entrance is a common practice at hotels around the world. Apart from this unpleasant arrival experience, the room itself was excellent.
The bathtub, the bed , the entire room
A bit more light from the window - unfortunately the window is narrow
The rooms are large and well equipped. And the location is fabulous.
But the windows were too high to see out of. The location was fabulous. But even standing on the bed, you would be pushed to see out of the windows to see a view. So very dark and gloomy. Also the rooftop bar is not a bar, and not open in the evening- just for breakfast. And there is no communal area in the hotel - It is more like a block of flats.
