Wonderful stay
Pros:

Fantastic location next to Lake Georgetown with a brewery restaurant next door. The brewery offers a 10% discount for hotel guests! The front desk staff was friendly, professional & very genuine. They took interest in the fact that we were there to hike a 14er, remembered the next day and congratulated us. Clean comfortable rooms, solid continental breakfast. Coffee 24 - 7. There is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor near the lobby for refilling water containers etc.

Cons:

All was good!

It was pleasant but would not go back to Microtel.
Pros:

The majority of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious and the property itself was nice.

Cons:

I did not get the room I booked. When I mentioned this to the staff member when checking in, she rudely told me that since I booked through a third party, there was nothing she could do to make it right. The hot tub was broken for most of our stay which was disappointing as we did pick a place with a hot tub. The lack of cleanliness in the pool area, the intake air filter on the wall in particular was disturbing.

Great!
Pros:

I liked this hotel and its location. We had a nice view of the lake. Probably, will book it in the future again. I was satisfied. Ladies at the front desk were wonderful!

Cons:

I would prefer a hot breakfast. Otherwise, everything was great.

A little pricey for a standard hotel room midweek, but overall good stay for a night or two.
Pros:

The hotel is very close to I-70, so I was concerned about traffic noise, but we had a lake-facing room, and it was very quiet. Breakfast items were kept well stocked...I've stayed at many hotels over the years where certain foods and/or coffee run out and are not replenished in a timely manner, so great job on that. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Friendly helpful staff.
