A really lovely stay in a lovely hotel
Pros:

Really lovely hotel. Clean with a lovely room. Breakfast was really good. All staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lunchtime food service was slow and food quality was poor - had to send back a dish because it was burnt and also over salty

Pros:

Location great overlooking harbour near shops pubs and restaurants

Cons:

Cost 26 pounds for parking for 2 nights and room was cold also had to pay 15 pounds a night for our dog and asked for a sausage for him at breakfast waitress said you are giving 2 sausage on your breakfast give one to your dog also no fresh towels or tea coffees on second day

Great location and lovely room!!
Pros:

Really great location, the room was really spacious, clean, comfy bed and with a great view.
Breakfast was included. It is at 10.00am after check out but we didn’t have any problems we handed our keys in and were seated and served straight away.
We had also eaten there the previous day and both meals were really nice.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Good location, lovely view over the harbour and marina, staff very good, welcoming and attentive
We had a double room on the top floor, clean and spacious

Cons:

Found parking a problem, ended up on Marine Drive about 20 minutes walk from hotel. No luggage storage at the hotel so had to carry luggage around before being able to book in and again the morning we left.
Weren't able to have breakfast at the hotel as the chef had car trouble. but were provided with breakfast at a cafe near the top of the tramway, which was ok

Cons:

Misleading information about check in times which is only allowed for one hour between 3 and 4pm. Breakfast time after checkout at 10am. Ridiculous. And very convenient for the proprietor

Convenient, good views, but not very friendly

Cons:

The person in charge wasn’t very friendly, she knocked on our door at 10 on the dot very loudly to ‘kick us’ out of the room which we were just vacating on time. There was no hairdryer in the room, she said we should have seen this on booking .com but unless it had been pointed out specifically, we wouldn’t have known, it is usual to have a hairdryer! There were angry notices everywhere, just not very hospitable! The room was great otherwise

Very poor, would not return and would not recommend.
Pros:

It was close to all amenities. Room was clean and airy. Good views.

Cons:

Had to provide photographic evidence with an address which we weren’t asked for previously.
Booked for breakfast but this wasn’t served until 10.15 ish after we had to book out of the rooms.
Tried to order food at 5.15pm to be told the kitchen had closed.
On returning to the hotel it was in darkness and the bar was shut.
