プール付きの部屋にしましたが、朝食付きで2泊5万ちょっとで泊まれるホテルは、日本では中々無いと思います。お盆休み中と言うこともあり、日本人がとても多いのが印象的でした。バンコクの日本企業の駐在員家族が、2時間ちょっとで気楽に来られるリゾートとしてはとても魅力的だと思いました。部屋もきれいで、フロントのスタッフも親切。タイ語のわからない私に、精一杯コミュニケーションを取ろうとしてくれ、誠意も感じました。
部屋のプールは水深60cmで、お風呂レベルですがしっかり10mくらいの長さがあり、火照った身体を冷やすのに丁度良い温度と水質は日本レベルとしてもハイレベル。常に掛け流している感じです。循環でしょうが。朝食も種類多く味も濃くなく日本人向けです。ただフルーツは、期待していた、マンゴーはありませんでした。コスト削減でしょうか。スーパーで購入したマンゴーライスがめちゃくちゃ美味しかったので、ちょっと残念です。
SPAにあるONSENは、プールと違って、ひどい塩素殺菌剤の匂いがして、どこが温泉やとツッコミを入れたくなる物です。塩素殺菌剤が浴槽の下に沈んでました。部屋に浴槽がない人にとっては、身体を温めるには良いとは思います。あと、ホテルのコンセプトだと思いますが、パタヤの田舎にありますので、周りにはあまり見るべき物はありません。おそらくホテルにお金を全て落とす様に、繁華街から遥か遠くに隔離して全てを完結できる様にしています。パタヤビーチには、シャトルバスが運行してますが、時間は中途半端です。まあタクシーでも、1000円もかからないので、悪くはありませんが。あと部屋によっては、生活道路に面しているため、騒音が気になります。また、蚊が多いので、虫刺され対策したほうがいいです。
