The location was amazing and the hotel was beautiful and rooms great and clean and beds were really comfortable. We had a great nights sleep.
The breakfast service was terrible. Food was running out and there were no cups for coffee. We waited for a long time for the food to be available. The hotel should expect to receive a majority of guest during the last hour of service on the weekends. The food quality was lovely.
Location was great, furnishings looked either new or fairly recently installed.
Some areas within the room had not been cleaned for a very long time, as there was a visible layer of dust present on shelves and on the wood panelling ledges. The icebox had been used as a bin by the previous guests and not been emptied.
There was no housekeeping service on day 2 and despite asking, housekeeping were unable to provide fresh towels. (Suspect due to the extreme heat in UK, the laundry company may have let the hotel down).
Staff at check-in were pleasant and welcoming. Yet, staff in the hospitality areas, seemed utterly miserable and didn’t appear like they wanted to be there at all. The breakfast service team was extremely under prepared for the number of guests, despite having a list of numbers for those who had booked breakfast. On both mornings there were not enough mugs, plates, bread or hot food, causing long queues to form whilst everyone waited. When residents enquired, the staff were not apologetic and made guests feel like they were an inconvenience.
There was quite a queue when my friend & I arrived, but we were a little earlier than the check-in time. There were many people staying here on 26th June, as Take That were performing at the Olympic Stadium.
I am unsure of the name of the man who served me (he was a coloured gentleman & a sharp dresser) - he was so polite & welcoming. He was very cheerful & offered to look after people's luggage, if they wanted to avoid queuing, & could come back later.
Both bars were fantastic.
The rooftop bar was fabulous - Luciano looked after us. A little pricey for some of the drinks, but ok if looking for a treat.
The 1st floor bar was also fantastic. Most welcoming when we got back from the Olympic Stadium.
Lack of attention to detail from the female bartender, who put a round of drinks on my friend's bill, for people we were not with & didn't know.
When questioned, she shrugged her shoulders. The Polish barman apologised on her behalf. Offered my drink for free. Whilst this was appreciated, my friend would have been happier for the round to be refunded, particularly as the other drinks included a large glass of expensive wine!
Clean - modern and has a ice machine
Fridge not cold
Hilfsbereites nettes Personal.
Location was great for our short weekend trip and to go to Take That concert! Our rooms while not together were great, comfortable and amazing view! Loved the coffee shop in reception, we did not have breakfast.
Due to hotel being full, check in was a bit manic and not all rooms were ready, minor frustration though!
Location good and cleanliness great.
We paid £732 for a suite, which felt poor value for money given how small the room was compared to other suites I’ve stayed in. For that price, I would have expected a more spacious room and basic touches like complimentary bottled water, which was not provided.
We also had a disappointing experience with food service. Despite there being tables available, we were told there was at least a 45-minute wait due to understaffing, so we weren’t able to eat at the hotel. Room service was very limited and didn’t offer much appeal, so we ended up ordering from Uber Eats instead.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for the price paid.
Had a-great stay !
Nothing
Everything. After being let down at the last minute with our accommodation. We were able to book this hotel. Within 5mins of booking the room we were booked in. The room was very clean. Location was perfect for what we needed it for. Mega cheap parking. Air con was a saver with the heat wave. Hotel was very quiet. Cannot thank them enough for fitting us in at extremely short notice. Will definitely be staying here again.
Nothing.
Lovely hotel and room, with good access to the stadium for an event.
Felt the price was a bit high, but not completely unreasonable.
