Pros:

Me and my wife have just finished our stay here for our honeymoon and we could not recommend enough. We have never stayed anywhere as nice as this before. The location and views of the sunset over our own private pool were breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, they even gave us a card to congratulate us and wish us a lifetime of happiness. The breakfast we got everyday was unreal, the room was always spotless and cleaned up. Thank you so much to all the staff here at Lagon, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent boutique hotel with stunning views!
Pros:

This boutique hotel was excellent and super clean. All staff, from reception to catering and cleaners were all excellent and helpful :) It had all you could want if you were wanting a place to chill out and admire the amazing views of Chania city, the port/sea and amazing sunsets each evening. Our room had its very own pool which was handy with the hot days in Crete. The room was also very comfortable and very clean. Enjoying the daily breakfast out on the balcony each morning, with the amazing views, was a little different but very enjoyable. The breakfast menu to choose from was extensive and very tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Its location was a little out of town so a taxi/bus was necessary but the amazing views made up for this small issue.

Det var rent og pent, fantastisk utsikt, nydelig mat og deilig badebasseng. Vaskepersonalet er magiske! Jeg skjønner ikke hvordan de klarer ha det så skinnende rent hver dag. Personalet for øvrig var eksemplarisk hyggelige og greie.

Jeg elsket at man fikk shampoo og balsam i små beholdere, jeg trengte for første gang på lenge ikke bruke min medbrakte balsam da denne fungerte. Og hotellsåper! Det visste jeg ikke at jeg savnet.

Cons:

Den elendige hårføneren som spiste håret mitt stod ikke til 5 stjerners forventningen. Jeg var innom Lidl nedi gata noen ganger og var veldig fristet til å kjøpe en Remington til 19€ og bare legge den igjen, men så snudde været og jeg trengte ikke hårføner lengre.

Jeg var litt skuffet på størrelsen på rommet... Og plasseringen av badebassenget, det samsvarte ikke med bildene på booking.com Drar jeg tilbake vil jeg bestille direkte fra hotellets nettsider siden det var lettere å forstå hva man fikk gjennom dem.

La vue depuis la piscine est tout simplement la plus belle que nous ayons eue durant notre séjour !
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La vue sur La Canée est tout simplement magnifique. Le personnel est toujours disponible, accueillant et de bon conseil. Le parking couvert est un vrai plus pour stationner la voiture en toute sécurité. Le logement est impeccable, très propre et offre tout le confort nécessaire.

Cons:

Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il n'y avait pas réellement de liberté de choix. Le menu devait être rempli la veille avec des options prédéfinies. Par exemple, il était possible de sélectionner deux plats parmi les propositions salées, mais un seul parmi les propositions sucrées. Si nous souhaitions tous les deux choisir un plat sucré, cela n'était pas possible, ce qui était un peu frustrant. Ce point n'enlève rien à la qualité du petit-déjeuner, qui était excellent.
J'ai trouvé regrettable qu'un supplément d'1 € par personne soit demandé pour un petit-déjeuner à emporter en cas de départ matinal, d'autant plus que celui-ci était très minimaliste.

Full relaxation in a tranquil area.
Pros:

We liked the room and the layout and having our own balcony and pool. The cleaning lady that mostly took care of our room was very nice and good at her job. Overall the hotel was clean, there were some ants and bugs but the cleaning ladies took care of it when we told staff about it.

The reception was welcoming, there was one that welcomed us when we first arrived and she was amazing throughout our stay.
Sometimes we felt like the conversation with staff was forced and not as genuine. Otherwise they were kind and ready to help us.

The view from the hotel is amazing and we never got tired of it. Location of the hotel is great for people who have a rental car to drive around.

Cons:

What we missed was a nicer bar and restaurant area. There is too much white furniture and the plastic furniture was not very comfortable. There area needs some more colour and warm tones. Perhaps more people would come to the bar and have drinks at night. We knew the hotel had this white vibe but it just felt too much white being there.

The food was not very good we tried all kinds of different brunch options and sometimes the food was not fully cooked or lacked something, one time there was hair in the omelet and food was cold. It also got repetitive as we were staying for 10 nights. We think the hotel is maybe better suited for short stays in crete.
There was no room to eat breakfast in the room and we chose to eat it at the restaurant which was fine.

The drinks at the bar are also too expensive and were not good as they were flat and not refreshing. We noticed that people staying at the hotel did not use the common are much and these reasons above could play a huge role in why.

Location of the hotel is quiet and there is not much around so we took the bus to Chania almost every night to have dinner and drinks.

Luxurious city break with magnificent views of Chania Town.
Pros:

Despite being full we felt like we were the only ones there. The pools the spa and the breakfast all superb. Great Chefs delivered outstanding food the staff spot on. Our room was very comfortable.. We had had a bottle of complimentary wine. The views of the city by day and night are spectacular. Room service was excellent. We spent time in the spa using the steam room and sauna. The poolside jacuzzi was perfect. All in all an outstanding city break.

Cons:

We can’t fault it. Keep doing what your doing. .

Amazing. Would go back
Pros:

Everything. I can't begin to tell how this location has amazed us each day of out vacation. It has been amazing. We loved our little pool where we stayed soaking up the sun.
The jacuzzi was amazing, especially in the chilly nights. It is amazing to dip in the hot water and get a massage while it's chilly out.
The spa part was amazing also. Maria was my therapist, she was competent and very nice. Very pleasant massages and I especially loved the luxurious Apivita products

Cons:

The ramp getting out of the hotel parking lot is steep., so is the street the hotel is on., which is not really a complaint to their services or hotel overall because it's... geography. Now, this has nothing to do with the hotel, but the car rental company gave us a 60HP car that really struggled with the steep ramps. I suggest renting out at least 90-100 HP car because as steep as their ramp is, so are many other streets in Chania and in Crete so a stronger engine is a must.
