Better blockout blinds for rooms facing the terminal is really all I can think of

One or two staff could smile a little and appear to enjoy their job. It does reflect on the whole experience. Look like you are happy - it's an image thing.

We had an early flight out the next morning so decided to stay right at the airport, it was the best decision we didn't have to get up earlier than we needed to and fight the traffic to get to the airport. Our room was looking over the runway and was really quiet, great bed. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was good value for money. Would stay again if needed.
