Location great. Parked right outside and staff very warm and welcoming. Comfortable bed.
Had a room on the back overlooked by flats - felt exposed to tenants in property opposite.
Good continental option at breakfast but only bacon, beans and toast for those looking for a more traditional breakfast. Room was a good size with a nice bathroom but floorboards were very creaky so did feel sorry for the people in the room below.
For the price, i do not think this was value for money. Even though the facilities were good, for a night stay I thought the price was on the expensive side. However we would stay again but it will depend on how much they are charging for the room.
Location, room, free coffee and cookies
I was charged twice, took 5 days for refund, I needed those finances for my continuation of my holiday.
great location over looking the sea. hotel staff friendly. bar nice and breakfast delicious
nothing
Close to town. Clean room. Easy check-in. Discounted on street parking (if you can find a space)
Breakfast wasn’t very good - hard scrambled eggs and disgusting fatty anaemic bacon. Price had been hiked from £80 a night to £180 due to concert at the open air theatre.
Breakfast was n/a as we didn't want a big breakfast at the cost of £15 and ate elsewhere. The attached Barica restaurant was very nice and we enjoyed a lovely vegan evening meal. The staff were very helpful and looked after our luggage even when we'd checked out as we were going home later in the day by train.
The shower flooring was very slippy and the cubicle was on the small side
Very large, comfortable and clean room. Fantastic location and view. Nice toiletries. Free tea and coffee making. Great breakfast. Superb, friendly and very helpful staff who went well beyond the extra mile. VERY dog friendly. Will absolutely stay with Bike & Boot again.
Nothing at all. This is an excellent hotel offering fantastic value for money..
Location is nice.
Noise from the road. My room faces the side and back of the hotel, it gets very noisy with traffic.
Excellent location, clean, comfortable and good food .Friendly staff
Bathrooms just a little small
The actual hotel is really nice but we were put off by the check in experience and the staff at breakfast
Finding somewhere to park was tricky. The hotel advises to pay for a disc and park on the street nearby but there aren’t any spaces.
Paid on booking months ahead but the check in system wanted me to pay £180 in order to check in. Luckily some helpful hotel staff were close by and checked us in on a different system.
The staff at breakfast weren’t very friendly and we were treat like a hindrance unfortunately.
The location is good for access to the resort facilities. The hotel was spotless and the staff very good
We were allocated a first floor room in an adjacent annex. This had no lift-not very good as we have ageing knees.
Not too concerned that the room had no view but the constant noise from seagulls nesting on nearby properties (e.g. the grubby-looking Travelodge and Grand hotels which don't seem to take basic seagull deterring methods) led to poor night's sleep
Excellent facilities, seating areas, tea and coffee and cookies. Dog washing and breakfast was superb
Parking is a bit tricky but we did find a space
