Convenient location
Floors had some dust bunnies around the dining area suggesting deep cleans weren’t frequent
Location on the Thames was wonderful, though a bit far from many tourist sights.
From 8.30pm the fire alarm went off loudly in our room and in the whole building every 5 minutes. We evacuated to ask the staff for an update, but the staff were given no support from management and were under-resourced. They were told to turn off the alarm manually each time, but this did not stop the alarm from going off every 5 minutes. You can appreciate this is a dangerous situation to be in, being unsure if the alarm is for a genuine fire. We had an early train the next morning and were driven crazy by the constant alarms, so we checked out in the middle of the night, asking for a refund — we were instead given an email address that NEVER replied to my requests for a refund for the night.
Some parts of the room were also filthy, with a THICK and significant layer of dust under the bed, which indicated they have never cleaned under it.
Incredibly dissapointing stay, know that if anything goes wrong, noone will support you.
Location
Room facilities
Under the bed was dusty with old tissues.
The room is airconditioned, which was great during the heatwave! Location is very convenient, staff friendly and helpful. I would stay again!
One minor nuisance was the noise from the street, it's not a busy street at all at some point in the morning there are vehicles making a lot of noise.
Lage etwas laut aber sehr zentral
lovely clean room and good value for money!
Friendly and accommodating staff, all amenities needed for a self catering stay, nice location and great communal areas.
I got given a key card for a room that was not ready for me. The staff upgraded me and apologised for the error which I appreciated.
It was a good location. It was what we needed for our stay. The was a lovely view of the millennium bridge.
After an initial really good impression by the staff, in the afternoon when we returned, one of suitcases (which was in a locked storage area) was given to an other person. The staff member at the desk was very defensive, and didn't say sorry at all. They didn't know what to do in the situation, and it was down to us to get them to work out which guest they gave it to and to ask them to phone them. Thankfully the suitcase was returned.
In the evening we were given incorrect advice about local amenities.
The location is excellent, and both the room layout and construction quality are great. Well equipped. Sound and heat isolation were perfect.
Cleaning was really poor, and that was the difference between rating it from 10 to 7. There were yellow spots of humidity/mold everywhere in the shower cabinet. The toilet paper provided was wet, and of the worst quality. All the dishes, glasses and cutlery were really dirty, and had to be washed before use.
The TV setup looked fancy, but only youtube worked, none of the channels worked.
Style was lovely
Issues with key card mix up on
Clean under the beds and furniture, it hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
Room was larger than expected with small kitchenette and the river view was brilliant. Excellent position by the Millennium Bridge and a short walk to the tube. Bed was comfortable, although a tight fit in the gap and couch was large (a couple of cushions would have been nice), good TV. The cafe and bar downstairs was a lovely added extra and staff were friendly and helpful. For the price in a fantastic position it was great. Thoroughly recommend.
Couch needed cushions.
Beds are very comfortable. Excellent selection of equipment (ironing and cooking equipment etc). Amazing view of the River Thames.
The breakfast and coffee shop was excellent also.
An excellent stay overall.
This hotel could t be more perfect for a central London stay. We had a gorgeous view of the Thames and the Tate Modern from our window!
It was clean, quiet and comfortable.
We felt the room would’ve benefitted from bottled water and a coffee machine. Given the cost of the stay we felt that would have been fair.
I also had let the hotel know it was my wife’s birthday but we didn’t receive any little touches or references to that which was a shame.
The staff were polite but we felt a little like we were checking in and out of a high street hotel which we think could be improved by attention to customer service- especially given the very special setting of the Hotel.
The customer service and gym were excellent! The coffee downstairs and the gentlemen working there were awesome. We were grateful for the good food, good service, and good coffee!
The dryer did not work and we paid twice for it :( Television and air conditioning in our room also did not work.
