Pros:

Could not fault anything, large bedroom, and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows.

Nothing was too much for Becky.

Clean hotel but very noisy
Pros:

The hotel was clean and location in terms of being central and close to the pier was great. We had a double and single bed room and was comfortable.
I have an electric car so the two charging points almost outside the hotel were great.

Cons:

Unfortunately, it is located right across from a burnt out building and a very loud karaoke/nightclub that went in until 1am so we could t sleep before then with a young family. The windows are not great. Tough to shut and even when you do so they dont keep out the noise.
The welcome wasn't great either when we arrived. I read lots of comments of friendly staff but honestly didn't get that at all. No smile. No welcome.

Over all for my time spent around hotel. It was acceptable. And may stay again in future.
Pros:

Clean and welcoming. Staff work hard. And helped out with requests

Cons:

Needs some thought and TLC in the room I was in. lack of draw space. No where to put your clothes when staying longer than a day or two. So living out the suitcase. Coat hangers to put hanging clothes up. That’s it, was no bedside table but on request was brought from another room, draws on this need liners. God knows what people use draws for. Shower was hot. Needs a non slip mat. Very slippery. Defo needs update in that particular room. Carpets could do with shampoo on heavy foot areas.
All this has been mentioned to Becky so hopefully going forward. Some miner things. Would make that difference. This to me is honest and constructive.

Not much sleep

Given the wrong room. Room photos & room names are mixed up (beware)

Cons:

I was given 2 rooms that I had not booked: a family room (my room wasn't ready for the 1st day) then a double room the next day that I stayed in for the rest of the time.

I checked Booking.com and saw the room looked completely different to the photos. I had booked the bridal suite room which is significantly bigger with an outside area. The manager confirmed that the room photos and the room names are mixed up on Booking.com and Expedia.com

This is a known issue that guests should be informed about before they book. I have found a review about the same issue (26 August 2023 by Ross) so this seems to have been going on for many years. Instead of enjoying my holiday, I was left disappointed about the false advertising. Photos of rooms that are not available shouldn't be listed.

I told the manager I expected some kind of discount and they did not offer one. I contacted OYO about the situation and received zero response.

Friendly place in a good location
Pros:

The staff were helpful and friendly, had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
They kept our bags for us as we arrived early and wouldn’t be back until later, they put them in our room for us ready for our return.
The room was clean and spacious, it had what we needed for our stay. It was was quiet and comfortable in a good location.

Cons:

It was just right for our visit.
