It felt like home in a private suite!

I truly loved how close the property was to the French Market, and the majority of the restaurants that I wanted to eat at.

Cute stay for a great price.
Pros:

It was quiet, homey, enough room for me, my 3 kids and their dad. Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter.

Cons:

Only 30 gal hot water tank per room so had to be mindful of showers.

I Will Definitely Be Back!
Pros:

This is my second time staying at the Hotel de la Monnaie. I returned because of the friendly and welcoming staff, the amenities and the perfect location. I loved having a kitchenette at my disposal, being only yards away from the French Market, Frenchmen Street and the riverfront streetcar.

Great value for money
Pros:

Great location, Great price, Fridge, Kitchen Microwave, Refrigarator, Electric stove... There's an ice machine in the hall. no more than 10$ for self using washing machine.

Great Stay All the Way Around!
Pros:

Everything was perfect, especially when you add in that I was able to get the free parking (first come-first served) located under the hotel. It was locked up at night so very safe.

The staff was wonderful and did everything they could to keep my stay as enjoyable as it was.

A small thing but great anyway: The lobby AC was CRANKED!! When you come back from walking around the French Quarter for hours in 94 degree heat, it’s a nice feeling to be so cool.

Cons:

Nothing. I’m sure if I didn’t get the free parking and had to pay $45 per day at a nearby lot, I might feel differently.
