Great place to stay to truly get the local feel
Pros:

I think the location was the selling point for me. It was nearby many supermarkets and within walking distance of a Speed Queen where you could do laundry! I didn't need these services but when walking around I saw a Dentist, Optometrist, Urgent Care as well. The train station was also a pretty short walk. 10min walk down to the water and popular waterfront area. I just love Rapallo but Hotel Il Gatto was a great place to stay without breaking the budget.

Cons:

Keeping track of two keys on a large key chain was a bit troublesome but I think I would've lost it if the keychain wasn't big enough. I was also concerned coming back afterhours and there not being anyone at the front desk. But, I was told ahead of time that there wouldn't be anyone at the desk after midnight (which is why you needed the separate front door key).

The hotel is fair for the price, everything is correct and the staff is very nice.

Cozy and wonderful hotel
Pros:

The staff is very kind and professional. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean, and the breakfast is excellent. Overall, you can really see the effort put into creating a great guest experience. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Come da attese. Professionalità, cortesia e confort superiore allo standard della categoria.
Pros:

Colazione tutto ok. Aspettative confermate.

Cons:

Parcheggi: inesistenti. La struttura non c'entra: dovrebbe essere l'amministrazione comunale ad occuparsene. Lo staff in merito dà indicazioni precise ma più di tanto non può.
