It is a beautiful building, lovely architecture as seen in many Asian beach resort areas, with a stunning absolute beachfront location. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and lots of luxe. Staff were extremely attentive, especially our butler, Chandi. It is on a quiet stretch of beach, away from a lot of the loud tourist areas along that bit of coast which, in our book, is highly desirable.

Cons:

We hadn’t appreciated that the ocean would not be swimmable due to rough seas and a big shore dump. Also, while we did not turn the tv on, we noted that the TV was on a fixed stand facing the cupboard with the mini bar (not the sofa) so if you did want to watch tv there was nowhere to sit that really worked or was comfortable. It is subject to noise from the road and railway however we were not worried by it and they do provide ear plugs.

Good property but not worth the money
Pros:

It is a beautiful property by the beach and close to all the happening places. Services by the chef and kitchen team was good

Cons:

We faced current outages, we didn’t feel it was worth a lakh for 2 nights, although it is on the beach, it’s not useful as the ocean is too deep right by the waves, you will feel a little lonely as they have very few rooms.

All in all a great stay. But not a great price/value.
Pros:

We where alone it the whole „hotel“. It only has 5 rooms.
Awesome Beach

Cons:

Little bit overpriced and never a 5* level. It’s more a house with rooms and pool. Rather stay in the latern hotel belongs to beach house and has full facilities.

Pros:

Die Lage am Strand ist schön, auch wenn man nicht schwimmen kann. Es gibt nur 5 Zimmer, das a la carte Frühstück war (so die Auswahl denn verfügbar..) lecker, der Zimmerservice sehr ordentlich. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, trotz Sprachbarrieren. Von hieraus sind in beide Richtungen schöne Restaurants in 300m Entfernung an Strand zu erreichen.

Cons:

Diese Unterkunft entspricht allenfalls europäischen 3 Sternen. Die Anlage, inklusive Lobby, Treppenhaus, Zimmer und insb. Bäder ist allgemein einfach heruntergekommen. Außerdem ist das Hotel an einer Tag und Nacht frequentierten Straße gelegen. In Zimmer 6 haben wir in der ersten Nacht echt kein Auge zugemacht. Obwohl es die teurere Kategorie war, war der Balkon vielleicht 60cm tief mit irgendwelchen Plastikstühlen. Außerdem wirklich beengt. Wir konnten freundlicherweise ins Zimmer 4 (selbe Kategorie) wechseln, deutlich geräumiger, großer Balkon mit gepolsterten Outdoormöbeln und vor allem mit mehr Abstand zur Straße, sodass es deutlich ruhiger war.
Die Getränke am Pool werden vom 300m entfernten Schwester-Hotel bezogen, was immer mindestens 15 Minuten gedauert hat, wenn sie überhaupt kamen.
Über 400€ pro Nacht sind wirklich in keiner Hinsicht gerechtfertigt.

Mir hat der Aufenthalt im kleinen Beachhotel gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter habe ich als freundlich und engagiert wahrgenommen. Man ist zügig mit dem Tuk Tuk in Mirissa, wo man einen Badestrand hat und diverse Restaurants und Cafés.
Das Hotel ist direkt am Meer gelegen. Zum Baden und Schwimmen ist es hier allerdings nicht geeignet. Der Strand fällt stark ab.
Den Lärm von der Straße habe ich wenig gehört.
Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse hatte ich einen direkten Strandzugang und Blick auf das Meer.
Das Bad war großzügig geschnitten, teilweise offen.

Cons:

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Hotel modern und ansprechend ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich und das Mobiliar könnten teilweise einen Anstrich oder Erneuerung gebrauchen. Es wirkte teilweise etwas „abgenutzt“. Der Frühstücksbereich außen ist nicht überdacht, sodass man in der prallen Sonne sitzt oder auf den Innenbereich ausweicht. Hier wäre ein Sonnenschirm o.ä. angenehm.
Zum Schwimmen muss man zum nächstgelegenen Strand fahren.
