Great value and wonderful service
Pros:

Cute design hotel 2mins walk from Omiya station. Very good value, very helpful staff, wonderful and spotlessly clean onsen. Long list of “free rental” items including lots of kids items (strollers, toys etc). Rooms as basic and with very small bathrooms but well thought out. I’ve stayed at the Omiya Candeo also and like both - probably better service but lesser rooms at Ref.

Cons:

Very hard beds even by Japanese standards. If travelling with kids be aware breakfast is a fully Japanese - no bread, cereal or fruit etc.

Convenient, cozy, clean hotel in non-tourist area
Pros:

Just a block or so from Omiya station. Rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities. Staff was very helpful. Especially with figuring out how to ship my luggage to the next hotel. Breakfast was excellent with variety of choices and local Japanese dishes.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was great!

Pros:

立地、清潔感、設えのデザイン、大浴場、宿泊者サービス（無料シャーベットアイス、コーヒー、ドリンク）、寝心地、部屋着の快適さのすべて。（素泊まりプラン）
スタッフとのコミュニケーションはほぼなしでチェックイン・チェックアウト完了。

Cons:

EVからやや遠い部屋だったこと（廊下に消費カロリーが掲示されているのが面白いですが）。大浴場入場用暗証番号をフロントに訊く必要があることを事前に知らされなかったため、難儀したこと。
