Pros:

Location: Excellent location in Kyoto: close to great food and drink spots, but away from the overly busy tourist areas. Easy to explore by foot or bicycle, with a very convenient bike rental right across the street.
Hotel & Service: A boutique-style hotel with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely kind, discreet, helpful, and excellent in English communication.
Room & Comfort: The biggest and most comfortable room we had during our Japan trip. Beautiful modern Japanese-style design, lots of natural light, a very comfortable bed, and fresh, well-maintained facilities throughout.
Facilities & Extras: Lovely rain shower, great lounge area downstairs, and thoughtful touches like welcome drinks, tea and coffee, and breakfast options.
Overall: Excellent value for money. We enjoyed the stay so much that we extended it. A stylish, peaceful, and genuinely comfortable hotel in Kyoto.

Cons:

More proper space for all the bicycles parking would have been appreciated, but no big deal.

Good stay in Kyoto
Pros:

We were generally very satisfied with our stay. The room was comfortable, modern, and the hotel overall felt very pleasant. The location was also good and convenient for exploring Kyoto.

The only thing we did not like was the cleaning policy. Daily room cleaning was not included and was presented as an “eco cleaning” concept, but if you wanted the room properly cleaned, fresh towels, and the bed made every day, you had to pay extra. In our opinion, that should still be a standard service in hotels. Aside from that, we had a very nice stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional — they even reserved kimonos for us, which was a really nice touch. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved that breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. The location is excellent and very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay !

-La gentillesse et l’accueil du personnel
- la chambre spacieuse
- la localisation

Cons:

- Notre chambre était collée à celle d’une famille avec enfants qui ont hurlé jusqu’à 00h et recommencé à 6h, les murs sont fins :(
- nous sommes restés 3j mais le service ménage n’a pas pris le soin de faire notre lit, c’est surprenant
