Pros:

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit tollem Blick auf die Küste und Pico. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant sind ebenfalls gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel und wir hatten kontinuierlich 1-2 Ameisenstraßen im Zimmer. Fliegengitter wären hilfreich, da immer einige Insekten in den Räumen waren.

Excellent stay!
Pros:

Beautiful location with a garden and saltwater pool overlooking the ocean and Pico Mountain. Our lofted room provided a blend of charm and comfort, with a large bed, jetted tub, and automatic skylight window. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating! We really enjoyed the daily breakfast with freshly baked bread and spreads made from local ingredients.

Cons:

Walls were a bit thin but not much of an issue for us

Arrivée en" catastrophe@ parce que les avions ne décollaient pas depuis 4 jours de Horta j'ai pris un ferry pour Sao jorge et accepté le 1er hotel qui acceptait de ne pas être payé en ligne.(possibilité de décommander si un vol) Depuis 4 jours j'étais dans le brouillard et je découvre un lieu magique: l'ensemble des chambres tout en basalte s'articule autour d'un jardin de rocaille extraordinaire à l'anglaise maîtrisé dominant la mer et en contre champ le mont Pico avec au centre une piscine. Des chats, des poules. L'avantage : un restaurant sur place, en contre bas; en rotonde réalisé tout en bois comme une structure de parapluie qui repose sur des fenêtres ouvertes sur cet espace bucolique d'un autre siècle. La cuisine est excellente, simple avec les produits du jardin et ou de l'île-pain, yaourts, confitures sont faits maison- service et décor de table très soigné; un accueil chaleureux. On se sent en famille. Certes un peu éloigné du centre de Velas - il faut une voiture/ taxi- un tel lieu est rare sur les différentes iles des Açores. Venir y passer plusieurs jours pour se déconnecter.

Prachtige huisjes met houten details op een leuk terrein met uitzicht op Pico.
Pros:

Het zijn prachtige huisjes, met een heerlijk restaurant erbij met heel mooi uitzicht op Pico. Ook hadden ze jonge katjes, en bereiden veel met locale producten, soms uit eigen tuin.

Cons:

In het restaurant kon het erg lang duren voordat je eten kreeg als het druk was.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Tolle Aussicht und einfache aber zweckmässige Räume. Sehr nette Gastgeberin und wunderschönes Top Restaurant! Wir haben auf der ganzen Reise nicht mehr so gut gegessen wie in diesem Hotel!

Cons:

Im Mai waren wegen des Wetters die Räume sehr kühl. Es fehlt eine Heizung. Mit einer Investition in ein entsprechendes Gerät wäre der Aufenthalt wesentlich angenehmer gewesen. Vor allem wenn man darauf angewiesen ist, im Zimmer sich aufzuhalten. Die Gastgeberin versuchte ihr Bestes, aber der Aufenthalt war sehr ungemütlich.

Schöne Aussicht und große Gastfreundlichkeit
Pros:

Wirklich schöne Anlage und Zimmer. Super Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Produkten und auch abends war das Essen im Restaurant sehr gut. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Die Aussicht war wunderschön.

Cons:

Dadurch dass die Decken so hoch waren ließen sich die Zimmer leider nicht gut heizen und es war etwas kalt.

Hôtes accueillants, petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, de même pour le restaurant, logement spacieux et confortable. Très beau cadre.

Cons:

Aucun équipement dans la "kitchenette" (juste une bouilloire et un frigo), des relents de canalisation.

Lugar lindo- Mal cuidado.
Pros:

Vista panorâmica fantástica, de frente para o monte Pico. Pena que o local e jardins do hotel estão muito mal cuidados meio que abandonados.

Cons:

Internet ruim, chuveiro quebrado e molha todo o banheiro, e o entorno das cabanas de pedra parecem abandonados, no meio do mato, parecendo um lugar em decadência...
Hotel lindíssimo, mas muito mal cuidado.
