Location
Very noisy and not Clean , very old amenities
Close to train station
Unclean, intimidating, run down, no forewarning of it being an asylum seekers hotel
Not a lot to be fair. The linen was crisp and clean. The towels were soft and fluffy
The room smelled of smoke and damp. Toilet was disgustingly needed a thorough clean. TV didn’t work. Not what I’d expected for the price we paid
The location is great being next to Charing Cross station. It's also only about 20 minutes walk from Glasgow Central. The beds were comfortable.
The room was very basic. Only one bedside table, no shelf in the bathroom, the toiletries consisted of a body / hair wash dispenser in the shower and a hand soap dispenser by the sink. The bar and restaurant were closed for refurbishment but nobody had notified us.
it was ok, lots of bread available to make toast I guess
black pudding, had ben sitting for a good while, it was brick hard, bacon and fried egg weren't brilliant either, tinned fruit cocktail or frozen fruit( and yes it was still frozen!) was all that was on offer no fresh melon for example was available, it was very blah !
N/a
Not a good impression on arrival when Police were in the front lobby. Food delivery bicycles padlocked to the railings outside and on further investigation discovered this hotel is a Home Office migrant approved hotel, which we weren’t made aware of prior to booking. Rooms are tired, dirty and hotel was noisy through the night.
The receptionist was very nice.
Building being torn down next door every morning till 5pm.
No turn down service.
Dusty, dank, smelly room. Not nice when your staying for a week.
Extortionate prices. over £600 for 4 nights?
Dodgy area. Homeless tent right outside the hotel.
Fire alarm went off at 01:30 in the morning and we had to evacuate. Standing outside in the cold for 30 mins.
The location was convenient, that was the ONLY good thing about this hotel. Everything else was a negative!
I was a female travelling for work, alone. Some of the guests that were congregating in the reception area were clearly drunk and / or high. These same people wandered the halls all night long, banging doors, shouting and swearing. I travel a lot for work, I don't need much, a clean room, decent bed and shower but for the first time, even in my room with the door locked, I genuinely did not feel safe here.
The hotel is very, very dated, run down, dirty, smelly and should not be charging £150 per night!
The location was good and the staff was helpful and nice.
It was dirty. The walls were gross and the carpet and chair were not clean.
Difficult to find
