Estancia accesible para descanso
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente, muy accesible a la zona de San Francisco. ¡El desayuno era fruta completa, si estuviera cortada estaría mucho mejor! La habitación era muy amplía y con la cocina nos hacía un favor y ahorro en cuanto a comida y desayuno.

Cons:

Sin embargo, tuvo un problema con la tubería del baño, tuvimos que solicitar un cambio de habitación, no obstante, al inicio no nos la quisieron otorgar hasta que dijimos que era bastante incomodo porque solo nos dieron la habitación para hacer uso exclusivo del baño y teníamos que atravesar el pasillo para ir de habitación a habitación, después accedieron a darnos la habitación. No obtuvimos ninguna bonificación por el inconveniente. Una de las noches hubo un incendio en los departamentos posteriores del hotel y no nos avisaron sobre el inconveniente, supongo que fue debido a que controlaron la situación, nos dimos cuenta ya que salimos a comprar cosas y estaba la avenida llena de bomberos.

Dikke aanrader!
Pros:

Prachtig oud hotel, vooral de lobby open ruimte. Kroonluchters, lederen en houten stoelen. Echt heel
sfeervol en romantisch.

Elke middag vanaf 17u wijn met kaas en crackers in de lobby, dat was heerlijk na een hele dag op pad inde stad. Ook de kinderen genieten daarvan (behalve de wijn 😉)

Ontbijt inbegrepen, wel alleen maar zoet maar dat is normaal in de VS. Wij Europeanen zouden graag die kaas van de middag ook bij het ontbijt zien haha.

Groot appartement, genoeg plek voor iedereen.

Cons:

De gordijnen sloten niet goed aan de randen, waardoor het vrij licht in de kamers was. Ook erg veel lawaai in de nacht van feestjes en schreeuwende junkies op straat. Kan het hotel natuurlijk niks aan doen, maar wellicht nadenken over beter isoleren van de ramen? Toch stoorde het ons niet zo, we waren te moe om lang wakker te blijven (jetlag). Maar ik kan me voorstellen dat dit voor veel mensen een echt niet fijn is.

Op zich was de locatie niet verkeerd, maar wel enorm veel zwervers en junkies op straat. Je moet een paar blokken lopen om bij de bus te komen , dat was niet de meest fijne buurt. Maar er is niks vervelends gebeurd.

Céntrico, cómodo y con encanto
Pros:

Hotel céntrico, perfecto para moverse por toda la ciudad. Teníamos dos camas grandes, baño amplio, zona de nevera y microondas y todo limpio en la habitación. Sirven el desayuno en el Hall, sencillo, pero suficiente. Tienen servicio de valet para aparcarte el coche. El personal muy amable.

Cons:

Aunque las instalaciones parecen antiguas, tienen su encanto y está muy bien conservado.

Dated hotel with its own Victorian charm.
Pros:

Location isn’t too far to walk to the cable cars. There are some small eateries and convenient stores along the way.

Cons:

The smell is musty and stuffy like the old Victorian mansion. It’s so dated. It’s badly in need of repair such as flooring is not leveled. We attempted to open the windows (covered by beautiful drapes) but found cobwebs instead though the bathroom is large with nice white tiles. The sinks need new faucets. The smoke alarm went off one afternoon during our stay, don’t know if it’s because someone smoked pot in the room. Yes, pot smoking in this town is unreal.

Cons:

Ramen in de kamer konden niet open, hotel ademt vergane glorie uit. Enorm veel lawaai snachts van sirenes ambulances/politie en vuilniswagens.

Habitación amplia, camas muy cómodas. El desayuno gratuito se sirve en el lobby, café, bollería, yogures y fruta. Más que suficiente.

Cons:

La ubicación es muy céntrica para visitar San Francisco, pero es un área frecuentada por homeless. No te sientes inseguro, simplemente tienes que andar con un poco de cuidado. Esta zona de la ciudad está más sucia.

Affordable, convenient hotel room with lots of positives.
Pros:

Charming historic hotel. My room was very large and had a minibar equipped with a microwave, sink and a reasonably large refrigerator which was a very nice convenience! Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again.

Cons:

The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. And the street noise was fairly high even after darkness fell.
