What lovely staff friendly and attentive.

We had a lovely room. Very large comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast.
Our shower was just warm and then cold when my husband used it.
EXCELLENT. BEST POACHED EGGS EVER
On arrival, my daughter and I were shwnnto a rom with a double bed - not the twins we had asked for. NO fuss, and we were offered another room - ie one each. Lovey rooms, very comfy bed, everything working really well. Even a Dyson fan to keep the heat at bay. Very delicious coffee in the morning

All’arrivo in camera, mentre mia moglie è già in doccia ci accorgiamo che non ci sono asciugamani, scendo nella hall per chiederne un paio e non ne hanno, la responsabile dei piani non c’è , risultato? Un asciugamani 40x 50 per potersi asciugare in 2 .
La camera con finestra sulla strada per colpa del caldo abbiamo dovuto tenere la finestra aperta e quindi ogni passaggio di macchina era un rombo dentro la stanza.
Peccato perché la struttura è carina ma il servizio annesso è la pulizia delle zone comuni lasciano a desiderare.
It was very clean , staff couldn’t do enough for you , food was lovely & plenty of it . Location was good if you didn’t want to drive you could get the bus or the hop on hop off bus from across the road .
Breakfast was fine on the first day. The lady in charge arranged for me to have a bacon sandwich. Sadley on our last day when I asked for a bacon sandwich I was told by a different lady that I could not have a sandwich. Very disapointing.
1) builders woke ys earley on our first morning erecting a scafolding outside the next room. 2) The loo flush never worked correctly, we had the water running all one night. I sorted it out the next morning.
The breakfast was great. Location was good.
All the staff were absolutely lovely apart from the manager. He was rude, impatient, arrogant and unfriendly. A shame, because everyone else was helpful and friendly.
Coffee was good, Dyson fan supplied staff pleasant.
No window in bedroom, just roof lights. Breakfast offering poor. Looking for continental breakfast, fresh pastries, wholemeal cereal/granola, better fruit selection. Maybe some summer fruits or compote. Can’t comment on cooked breakfast as just settled for coffee which was good.

The room was too hot. The fridge was broken which made the room hotter
The staff were all very relaxed and the different areas in the hotel/pub made for a nice choice of where ro sit etc. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The only reason it wasn't a 9 out of 10 was the incredible heat in the room, which then attracted mosquitoes and I had about 18 bites while my partner couldn't sleep until the early houra. Fly nets might help but the heat ... it would suggest lack of insulation in the roof space.
To be honest, the food was a little disappointing. My husband had a full English the first morning which was very mediocre.

Lovely place with great views over the new forest. Only a short walk from the town of Brockenhurst, with plenty of parking spaces. We visited during the hot weather and a fan was thoughtfully placed in our room. The pub area is really lovely and so is the outside garden. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was really good. Would stay again
Nothing
Location. Breakfast was included despite there being a known error with the hotel & the website which makes it look as though some people don’t get free breakfast (hotel said they had tried to rectify this with Booking.com but hadn’t been able to yet). It was delicious too! Staff were very friendly.
Room was dusty but otherwise it was great
