Pros:

the overall experience was simply stunning in terms of the ambience of the hotel inside and outside. the staff were exceptional. our room was extremely well appointed but the view from the room was poor simply looking over an expanse of flat roofs. the chambermaids had forgotten to leave milk on our tea tray and when we buzzed reception in the morning asking for some milk portions it was not delivered within an hour when we went down for breakfast. We also experienced a n hour wait between finishing our dinner starter and being served our main course. These shortcomings were something I reckon should not happen in what is otherwise an exceptional experience. We did mention the above when checking out and the reception staff made a financial adjustment to our bill.

Un hôtel de luxe sans l’exclusivité.
Pros:

Un hôtel exceptionnel dans la bel campagne écossaise. Le plus de cet hôtel, ce sont les nombreuses activités proposées, nous avons ainsi pu nous initier à la fauconnerie, au ball trap et au tir à l’arc, le tout encadré par des professionnels passionnés et passionnés extrêmement sympathiques. Les chambres sont très belles et le petit déjeuner est incroyable!

Cons:

Le moins pour nous, c’est le côté grosse machine. Trop de monde, il faut faire la queue pour prendre le petit déjeuner, réserver les restaurants des mois à l’avance pour être sûr d’avoir de la place et finalement, le prix est trop élevé pour ce manque d’exclusivité. L’hôtel a du succès et c’est mérité, mais finalement il est victime de son succès.

Everything about this property is wonderful!

Cons:

I didn't like to learn that I could not have any of the experiences because I had not booked them weeks in advance. Not being able to get a single dinner reservation was very disappointing. After some complaining, the staff found one experience for us.

A beautiful place with wonderful staff and exceptionally well-organized activities.
Pros:

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and always welcoming. I especially appreciated how well-organized and punctual all the activities were. The property itself is beautiful, and the overall service was excellent.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the horse-riding experience was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations at all. The riding setting and overall experience were not what I had hoped for.
