The staff and the beautifully done property with amazing interiors. It is right at the happening places yet tucked in a quite little street. The rooms are very clean, with running hot water, well laid out breakfast. Most importantly the staff are so polite, caring and they looked after us really well. Cara is just amazing and will take care if every little detail to ensure we were comfortable, so were Mia and Jayce at the reception supported by Long, John, Kevin and Tom. Would love to come back and stay here again. If you are looking for a cosy place which is quiet yet in a happening place, with some remarkable customer service, then look no further. Thank You San Boutique hotel for a memorable stay.

The hotel is a great location for exploring the Old Quarter and a quick walk to the lake, its down a quieter street too which is a bonus. There's lots of places to eat close by and spas / beauty places.
The room was a good size for Hanoi.
The staff where all helpful and friendly especially Cara who reached out daily to check everything was ok.

The room is clean,wifi, tv good. Importantly the room smells very fresh not mouldy or musty.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and seem very happy to work there. Staff speak very good English and were very good with communication before and doing our stay.

Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options or the staff will make you eggs, pancakes,pho.

We have visited Vietnam 20 times since 2011. We have stayed many times in the old quarter this is now my go to hotel.

We will definitely be back next time we visit Hanoi.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Mitten in der Altstadt in einer Seitenstrasse gelegen und deshalb recht ruhig. Grosses Zimmer mit Balkon. Leider war es zu heiss, um ihn zu benützen. Was natürlich nicht das Problem des Hotels ist. Die Auswahl des Frühstücksbuffets war gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Komme gerne zurück. Ist schon geplant.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had in Hanoi.

The rooms were absolutely amazing: spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, with great local and western options. The location is incredible, right in the heart of everything but still quiet enough to rest.

But the best part was the staff. So attentive, so kind, and genuinely warm. They made the whole stay feel special.

A truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing property located just a stone’s throw away from the lake and the weekend walking street.

You really can’t go wrong staying here. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have all the necessities you need for a great stay. Cara and the entire team genuinely go out of their way to help with anything they can, and they do it so naturally that you always feel taken care of without any sense of obligation. From preparing a thoughtful itinerary for Hanoi, to recommending great dining spots, to being available through their 24/7 concierge-style WhatsApp support, the team made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

The location is another huge plus — close to plenty of good spas, with a nice coffee shop right below the hotel. King Roti about 100m away is a must-try, and MET Restaurant is also within walking distance.

Breakfast was another highlight. Even during our 3-night stay, the spread never felt repetitive and had a really good variety each morning. The breakfast staff were also incredibly attentive and friendly.

Overall, an amazing stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Staff was amazing !! they contacted us prior to our stay to make sure everything was perfect. they provided us with clear communication regarding any questions we had and ensured we had an airport transfer. they also set up the room to help celebrate our 3 year anniversary which was extremely kind!
When we arrived they were super accommodating!! making sure to provide us with recommendations for food and activities.
Location was also perfect. right in the main area of the old quarter and really close to the note cafe and night market.

overall, I could not recommend this hotel enough !! all the staff were amazing and kind :)

Отличный отель! Рядом с озером, просторный номер с балконом, вкусный завтрак. Приветливый персонал, организовали трансфер (заказала отдельно). Отличное соотношение цены и качества. Бронировала через Booking. Рекомендую!
