Great location with an even better breakfast
Pros:

Great breakfast
Location for the town was ideal, less than a 2 minute walk

Cons:

The walls in the room are quite thin so could hear other people on adjacent rooms relatively clearly similarly the doors close to the room shut quite loudly potentially disturbing sleep

Lovely hotel, lovely team that run it.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the staff and owner were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was very lovely. Would recommend the hotel.

Cons:

I only have two things, but these are from a personal point of view and nothing ridiculous. I love a full length mirror, it has a lot of mirrors in the room, just not full length and as we were there for a wedding, I would have liked one. And the other is the middle of the shower head doesn't put water out, so there is no middle to the water coming out of the shower, but again this is a personal preference and wouldn't stop me staying stop me staying again.

Huge breakfast portions - I hate to waste food but couldn’t eat it all.
Pros:

Great location, free parking and an early checkin.
Nice hall, bar and breakfast room.

Cons:

Not the nicest bedroom (14) on top floor (not featured in the advertised pics) - overpowering smell of bleach in room on arrival.
Clean/comfortable.
Pricey bar drinks - despite 10% off 3-8pm.

Would stay again very comfortable stay nothing too much trouble

Pros:

The hotel is a lovely old building with a lot of charm. We were made very welcome and our room was very clean and comfortable: if a bit tired.
Breakfast was delicious: all freshly cooked to order

Cons:

Our room was up in the eaves with a difficult: narrow flight of stairs.

Pros:

Staff v friendly, helpfyl and professional. Smallish top floor room v clean and comfortable - in rafters thus had low ceilings and a bit airless but could open the skylight and im 5'6" and teavelling alone so perfectly fine. Superb breakfasts and breakfast room. Looking forward to going again.

Lovely two nights here. Staff lovely , breakfasts fab. Only downside no ground floor bedroom and no lift!
