Not your typical Wyndham
Pros:

The property is located close to Subway station

Cons:

The property is small and if you are used to stay at other Wyndham properties you will be fooled. This facility is much smaller. Rooms are only 100 something sqft and if you are family of 3 it’s tough to stay in the room with no room to sit except on the bed.

Really nice, clean hotel with good breakfast. Close to train station
Pros:

Super clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed. Nice view of South Bronx from my 10th floor room.

Cons:

Area was slightly dodgy, but close enough to train station for it to not really be an issue.

Fantastic staff, good value for the money, convenient to public transportation
Pros:

Liked that there was an on-site restaurant that was pretty good. The staff was GREAT. Super kind, helpful and accommodating, from the front desk staff, to the security staff, the team was exceptional.

Cons:

Rooms were pretty tiny with the sink outside the bathroom. The bathroom shelf was dusty.

The property was clean, well maintained, and staffed with friendly people. The beds were very comfortable.

Cons:

My biggest complaint was about the electric vehicle charging that was listed as an amenity. When I asked about how to access it, I was told that it was available to book but that it was always booked by one person and that it was not available for anyone else to use. When I mentioned at check out that their claim to have EV charging available was misleading if no one could ever use it, I was told that it was a Tesla charger that only one model of Tesla could use. Whichever of these is true, EV charging was not available which meant that we had to leave earlier than planned to make time to charge the car. Had I known that I would not be able to charge my car during my stay, I definitely would not have booked with this hotel.

The location wasn’t great, felt like a very seedy neighborhood, though it was very convenient to the subway. Walking to and from the subway felt a little unsafe, fortunately we did not have any issues. The room was also much smaller than anticipated, the pictures online are misleading. The breakfast also left a lot to be desired.
