Pros:

Superbe vue de la fenêtre de ma chambre sur les montagnes. Personnel très attentif et repas très bons. Et l'intérieur de l'hôtel est très beau et charmant.

Abseits gelegen mit Nähe zu den Einheimischen Bewohnern.
Pros:

Abgeschlossener Parkplatz hinter der Villa. Tolles Frühstück. Schöne Terrasse zum Frühstück oder Essen.
Auf Reservierung kann man dort auch zu Abend essen. A la carte oder Menu. Tolle Weinauswahl und Empfehlungen des Gastgebers.

Cons:

Beim Abendessen fühlten wir uns ein wenig gestresst.
Gerne hätten wir etwas mehr Zeit für die Auswahl gehabt, da wir auf Grund der Sprache doch etwas länger benötigt hätten um uns für ein Gericht zu entscheiden. Das Menü konnte man leider nur zu zweit bestellen. Schade.
Zwischen den Gängen war so gut wie keine Pause. Das fanden wir nicht so schön. Wir hatten doch Urlaub.

Es war auch ziemlich heiß während unserem Aufenthalt. Das Gebäude hat zwar kühlende dicke Gemäuer, aber eine Klimaanlage hätte unseren Aufenthalt abgerundet und die volle Punktzahl erbracht.

Delightful stay in a genuine medieval building
Pros:

Cozy typical hotel from this part of Spain. The architecture dates back to the XVII century and it’s kept in mint condition by the owner and wife. The lobby and dining room are romantic little spots where it’s a delight to sit.

Cons:

The breakfast is delicious but identical everyday

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit hervorragendem Essen
Pros:

Wundervolles Haus in einem gepflegten kleinen Ort im La Rioja. Wir hatten ein ruhiges, komfortables und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und bemüht, das mehrgängige Abendessen und die angebotenen Weine ein absolutes Highlight! Halbpension buchen lohnt sich unbedingt!

Cons:

Nichts, alles war wunderbar!

Excellent location from which to explore La Rioja region
Pros:

Peaceful location in picturesque village within easy reach of numerous interesting towns and villages and Rioja Bodegas.

Good parking arrangements for large car.

Cons:

Note that village has little in the way of food and drink options apart from the hotel itself. Was not a problem for us.

Prima locatie, gastvrije ontvangst en voor herhaling vatbaar!
Pros:

Het personeel, het restaurant en de aanwezigheid van een laadpaal.

Cons:

Vanwege de hitte was het zeer warm op de kamer, dus een airco werd gemist. Toch een dag er aan vast geplakt omdat de positieve dingen de negatieve overstegen.

I expected more.
Pros:

Good location. Parking in the premises. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

No aircon. Disappointing given the cost. The owner was serious and sullen. He never smiled. The room was quite small.

If they improve the sound insulation the property is 10/10
Pros:

Very convenient to visit the wineries. It has a restaurant and EV charger; the breakfast is freshly made and good quality.

Cons:

The sound insulation is very poor as they have a restaurant downstairs which gets really noisy at night, so not great if you want an early bed. The rooms lack of aircon however they provided us with a fun which worked really well.

It was hot during our stay, near 100 degrees and it was not air conditioned, usually not needed.

Voor een verblijf in de Rioja streek is Hotel Villa de Abalos een prachtige uitvalsbasis met een mooie kamer en heerlijk
Pros:

Heerlijk hotel met prima kamer, authentiek en super schoon. Het ligt zeer centraal in een prachtige Spaanse wijnomgeving. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De keuken van het hotel is heerlijk waardoor je elke dag kan blijven eten.

Excellente étape
Pros:

Nous y avons séjourné quelques fois auparavant.
L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la belle région de la Rioja, l'hôtel est confortable et on y mange très bien.
Les voitures sont garées à l'intérieur de la propriété,ce qui est pratique et rassurant.
Le soir vous pouvez vous joindre aux habitants du village pour prendre un verre et grignoter des tapas sur la place du village située devant l'hôtel.
Atmosphère locale garantie et très sympathique.
