Die Lage ist sehr gut und sehr ruhig. Das Personal sehr freundlich.
Wir waren jetzt das dritte mal zu Gast gewesen und ich muss sagen der Zustand des Hotels wurde leider nicht besser. Alles in allem müsste dringend von Grund auf saniert werden oder mindesten alles gründlich gereinigt. Im Frühstücksraum hängen die Spinnweben an der Decke und die Platzdeckchen sind voller Speisereste. Das ganze Anwesen könnte sehr schön sein aber es liegt alles mögliche auf dem Gelände und der kleine Park ist verwildert. Es tut mir wirklich leid das sagen zu müssen und hoffe es wird wieder besser.
The building has enormous character and contains really tasteful furniture and antiques. The staff are amazing. It's really peaceful and in a brilliant location.

The entrance hall and sitting room were eclectic in their decoration and lovely.
The curtain could have been able to fully close. The curtain could have been of a dark colour, and not white, to keep out the morning light. It could also be of a heavier material to cut out some of the traffic noise from the road. The carpet in the bedroom could be replaced with a darker one that doesn't have stains and markings on it. The carpet and room must be cleaned, and not have bits of whatever under the bed. The breakfast should have better ingredients offered, not cash and carry condiments, and not cheap sliced bread, cheap pots of flavoured yoghurt, and microwaved porridge. The floor of the dining room still had food on it from the day before!
Personeel is super aardig.
Kamer was heel klein. Badkamer stonk, waarschijnlijk door de grote kieren in de vloer.
Een bar zonder bier, een ontbijt zonder normale yoghurt of gekookt ei.
Pand en tuin verwaarloosd.

The building is alright.
* The room traps heat really badly, with open windows and fans no help. It wasn't the hottest day this summer, and it was still far too hot to get decent sleep.
* £10pp breakfast: ran out of both hash browns and mushrooms, the driest scrambled egg, hot water jug for coffee out of water, hair in my food.
* The room quite decrepid looking, with peeling paint. Shower didn't seem particularly clean either, with yellow staining on the floor and dead flies in the corner.
* Hear some other guests complaining about their toilet seat coming off, and the flushing system broken.
Lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. Nice breakfast.

Room was not clean, mattress was absolutely awful - could feel the springs. Towels were dirty. Shower was not clean.
