HABITA79, Pompeii, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Beautiful hotel with convenient location ! Easy walk to city center/square, shopping, and food. Very warm and professional greeting upon arrival. Friendly staff. Hotel had construction going on, so accessing the front door with luggage was a bit challenging but doable. We stayed in the suite with the terrace and it was incredible. Two bathrooms, the closet space was top notch- luxurious and modern. The terrace is huge and the views are amazing, zero shade during the day, so an umbrella would be ideal. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was very delicious ! The restaurant staff seem a bit unprepared and distracted- we were the only guests at lunch and breakfast, and had to track down the server both meals to get the bill and request refills. The challenging restaurant service is the only reason I rated 4/5. Everything else was great. Our sweet was modern and had all the amenities plus a free mini bar with snacks and refreshments. The spa bathroom was so nice ! Huge soaker tub and large walk in shower.

Rooms were great, staff were extremely helpful, the location was excellent for eating out in Pompeii and visiting the sights.

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the ruins of Pompeii. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the starting point for our tour from the hotel. We much preferred this compared to a 1 Hour drive from Naples or Sorrento.

The property used to be part of the Accor chain but is no part of Marriott. You can feel that they have not yet adapted to the Marriott style, and in fact, they probably should raise their standards a little to be better aligned. The rooms are fine, but the decor is definitely minimalist. The air-conditioning worked well, the windows and curtains were good for soundproofing.

Quite near to the hotel are multiple restaurants and street cafés. Although the hotel is on the more touristy side of the main square. They did seem to be more and better choices on the opposite side.

Parking is not on site, but maybe 100 m from the hotel. It is located behind the Eden children’s fun fair. When you first arrive at the hotel pull up to the Ballard’s that block the main entrance. Either they will not issue and drop them or there is an intercom on the left hand entry pillar. Press nine to be connected to reception. They allow you to unload your bags in the courtyard, and then move the car. You will be given an entry exit pass for the Eden parking lot that lets you come and go multiple times. The parking is charged to your room.

Breakfast was included in our rate, however, we chose to skip.

There is also a rooftop bar with amazing views. However, at the time we visited, they still had some protective coverings that had been up for the winter. This somewhat ruined the view because you were looking through plastic sheeting.

Overall the hotel is fine as a 1-2 night stay for Pompeii

Ideal location! 2 block walk to Pompeii Archaeological Park. We purchased our tickets for Pompeii at the front desk of the hotel and the staff printed our tickets, which included the bar code, so when we got to the park, we zipped right in. The purchase ticket line at Pompeii, can be long, so purchase in advance. Lots of restaurants and shops around hotel but the hotel has a terrific rooftop bar/restaurant!

Comfortable, modern, staff excellent and very central for exploring the Pompeii ruins

Best sleep I got during my 17days travel in Italy !
Nice goose down duvet with duvet cover ( not simple blanket with upper & under sheet aas some hotels provide)

Hôtel absolument superbe à tous les niveaux : les chambres sont magnifiques, l’hôtel chic et cosy, la nourriture, le vin et les cocktails délicieux… et le personnel adorable! Et il est à 5 mn du site de Pompéi!

Servizio ottimo, personale disponibile. Colazione, cena molto buone e ben assortite. Albergo bellissimo e molto funzionale. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la palestra e il bagno in camera con doccia davvero ottimale.
