Budget option at Ayers Rock Resort
Pros:

The Lost Camel is a great choice at Ayers Rock Resort. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
The hotel is within walking distance of the town center and the shuttle can take you anywhere in the resort.

Very comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful; the hotel location was excellent; there was attention to detail in the way the room was fitted out. There was a laundry that was free for guests to use and there was a microwave in the laundry. The pool area was nice to hang out in, even when it was too cold to swim and there was a courtyard with tables that was good to eat in or just sit and read.

Cons:

Not much - it was very good. It would have been handy to have a microwave in the room.

Basically fine but absolutely not worth $450 per night.
Pros:

Our room was next to a laundry. We could hear the dryer in our room till very late at night. Constant people walking past and talking loudly. No sound proofing at all. Had to ask someone talking loudly on phone over dryer noise at 11pm. No eating facilities.

Cons:

Sound proofing room. Room cleaning came in afternoon.
So expensive for the most basic room. Not even a proper bathroom. Unheated pool, kid couldn’t swim.

Very clean, great amenities, kind staff, and wonderful pricing (if worried since it is a resort)
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, and the general amenities were in great conditions. There are multiple restaurants within the resort complex, and the on-site resort supermarket was well-stocked. I was pleasantly surprised that the pricing matched what was in the major cities and not overpriced since we were in a resort complex. The Lost Camel is perfectly situated as you're not farther away like some of the other hotels that required a bit of a walk to get to the supermarket and town square. The microwave and laundry facilities were well maintained and easy to access. We will be back!

Excellent location and comfortable stay
Pros:

The property was in a great location within the resort. 1 minute walk from the town centre and the IGA.

Cons:

Everything was great but if I had to note one thing, a smart tv in the rooms would be good to watch something at night. Most of the channels had infomercials.
