Good Hotel, But Management Needs a Lesson in Customer Care
Pros:

Regular guest, but this stay left a bad taste. I paid for breakfast without being informed of a 20-minute wait. When I arrived and found out, I had no time to stay and had to buy breakfast elsewhere. I asked for a refund — or at minimum, parking reimbursement. Both refused. The manager’s response was dismissive rather than solutions-oriented. For a hotel that relies on repeat guests, this is simply poor service. I hope management reflects on how to handle situations like this more appropriately.

Lovely short stay, good value.
Pros:

Great easy walk from train station, 7mins. Staff were friendly and we were able to check in early which was appreciated. Very nicely appointed room as pictured. It was a great place to quickly visit Basel and have a rest stop in-between our longer trip.

Cons:

We were a little confused on check out, thinking our card had already been charged and so when paid the tax at the end we thought it had charged us twice for the full amount, but that wasn’t the case.
