It was a nice vibe. Good view of the trains. Really nice.
Breakfast could’ve been a little better but I understand why they had the choices for us because it was for the basketball team and they need healthier choices before the game.
The security guarded parking garage.
Nothing
Clean and close to where we were headed the next day
Desk staff in the afternoon wasn’t friendly or nice as well as the elderly lady at bistro wasn’t friendly or nice. We didn’t like the extra charge to park our car or the walk over to get our vehicle. We are older and my husband is ill and it was a lot! The food choices were very limited. We didn’t realize it was a half service hotel with poor customer service. Although the ladies at the front desk in the morning were nice and friendly. $15 for a sandwich which had burnt bacon on it was gross and inedible but we weren’t going to go back down and complain to the grumpy old lady at the bistro. She wouldn’t even make eye contact when we picked up our food. The ice machine was out of service without any warning ahead of time. Overall we would not choose this hotel again. We thought Marriott had a good reputation, but our experience didn’t reflect that.
Going on day 4 of our stay and still no housekeeping. Had to beg for towels and more toilet paper. Staff seem indifferent. Older lady who works the bar area was nice enough but easily overwhelmed when there are two or more customers waiting.
Do better.
Beautiful facility very clean
We were delayed for check in almost over an hour and caused our plans to be delayed. Staff member was rude and not helpful.
No much.
We were not informed that housekeeping was every 3rd day upon arrival nor as we booked. THAT would have changed our selection. This brand is not usually known for the least amt of service they could get away with. I was shocked as the lack of hospitality. Covid has been over for years- return to “normal” service.
Facility
Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable for pricing
Did not eat anything.
My only negative is that it needs to be more accessible into the hotel for individuals that need a little extra care. The ramp is long and the stairs are steep.
Dobra lokalozacja
The beds are so comfy!
The room could have a little cleaner. The floor needed vacuuming and the tub needed rinsing, but otherwise it was good!
The room and bathroom were spotless, possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever visited. When I say spotless I mean there were zero water spots on the mirrors and shower wall...that's impressive. The floor was vacuumed so well that when I walked around the room in black socks, nothing was on them...that's impressive.
The front desk staff did not disappoint either. We needed an extra blanket and she stopped what she was doing and 30 seconds later, in our hands. But that was after we declined her offer to have it taken up to our room.
The last very good impression came from the complimentary coffee station. That coffee was fantastic, seriously. Keep that brand - don't screw it up because some stinkin accountant says we can save money with this cheaper, sour tasting brand.
I definitely didn't like being forced to pay $10 for parking that was not secured. It was an open garage where anybody could lurk. I was told you had security monitoring the parking garage but I never saw any presence...you blew it on customer's perception of safety.
The other one? What got me to click on the link for the Marriott was a $99 price (on Booking.com). I never saw that price again...after parking fee (and optional $7 cancellation fee) I ended up at $170 for one night...that's a bait and switch boys.
