Pros:

Esperienza stupenda, a dir poco perfetta!
Camere bellissime e confortevoli, vista di paesaggi di grande tranquillità e poi lo staff.. a dir poco impeccabile.
Nel soggiorno consiglio la cena degustazione del ristorante che merita anche più della stella che già ha!

Peaceful, quiet and welcoming
Pros:

Beautiful spot away from too many tourists. Very private and welcoming. Dinners and breakfasts were delicious. Ideal place for couples stay I would imagine or business trip that requires peace and quiet. Room was spacious and well maintained.

Incredible food and service 10 minutes from coast, Bermeo Spain
Pros:

If you are looking for a quiet escape with outstanding cuisine and impeccable hospitality, Hotel Nafarrola delivers in every way
- setting is serene and beautifully integrated into nature
- 10 minutes from the coast, wonderfully secluded and peaceful
- restaurant should have a michelin star .... it is that creative and the flavours are incredible
-staff are attentive and genuinely invested; run by two brothers
- I suggest going to San Sebatian for a few nights and then come to Bermeo and stay at Hotel Nafarrola - suggest visiting Mundaka on a Saturday, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Guggenheim museum in Bilbao....all close to the hotel
- hope one of my daughters decides to get married here!

A must-visit premium boutique in a beautiful setting with great food and service!
Pros:

Amazing experience, in the hills overlooking a pastoral landscape. The rooms were just amazing, as was the service, the dinner, and the breakfast. Our only disappointment is that we didn't have more time to spend there! Would love to visit again.

The gift of Nafarrola
Pros:

Nafarrola is a sanctuary! The setting, energy, design, culinary experience, peace and service all exquisite. Josu and his staff knew exactly how to share their presence, passion for the region and its many gifts with generosity and care. I felt seen and embraced, but not bothered.

I came to write and simply be in the last couple of days of a two week trip. Decided to skip Bilbao completely, just to have more time at Nafarrola. I could have stayed a month.

If you're looking for understated excellence, delicious food, stunning beauty, if you care about the land and its many bounties and wish to immerse yourself in nature, wonder and peace, then I hope you have the great honor of being and staying at Nafarrola. What a gift. Thank you Gaizka, Josu and the team. I will be back. :)

A romantic country inn with divine food
Pros:

After some business in Bilbao, we were looking for a quiet location to unwind for a few days and walk in the Basque countryside. Bermeo and Hotel Nafarrola were the perfect answer. We were a short drive (car required!) from principal sights (including a day trip to San Sebastian and the hike to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe) and Bermeo was the perfect low-key fishing village. Our room (201, top floor) had steeply pitched ceilings which limited the usable space, but our window/skylights, private deck, and jetted soaking tub were wonderful. We had no need to use the wood-burning fireplace in the room.

bellissima esperienza (non perdetevi la cena che è meravigliosa)

location davvero ben curata in ogni particolare, bella la vista sulla vallata, la cena e la colazione sono state davvero un'esperienza molto positiva, probabilmente la migliore della nostra vacanza nei paesi baschi

Cons:

la strada per arrivare non è semplice, l'hotel è un po' fuorimano, quindi la raccomandazione è seguire alla lettera le indicazioni dell'hotel, purtroppo noi abbiamo sbagliato strada ad un bivio e seguendo la via alternativa ci siamo ritrovati in una strada senza uscita in mezzo ad un bosco...insomma richiede un po' di attenzione per arrivare!!

En un mot PARFAIT.
Pros:

Le lieu, le bâtiment , les petites attentions (1/2 bouteille de bon champagne) pour féter notre arrivée à l'hotel sont très appreciées. Chambre et terrasse attenante très grandes et confortables. Le diner au restaurant et le petit-déjeuner sont très bon.

Cons:

On peut toujours s'ameliorer mais le niveau à aujourd'hui est déjâ très haut !
