The location,the roof top bar and the breakfast was good.

Friendly, attentive staff, always making sure we were ok.
Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice, but get there a bit earlier as some of the food was a tad cold when we arrived.
The sink in the accessible room was far too small, there was no room to add your toiletries etc, and awkward when cleaning your teeth!
Roof top bar and the rooms were great

Good location .
Not much. From the entrance are a number of steep steps to go up to the reception. Awful. The small lift was for disabled people, and went very slowly and the button had to be pressed down continually very hard - that is if you could manage to open the heavy doors.
Before our stay we asked for feather pillows. They were not there. When after a sleepless first night we nagged about the pillows we were told the hotel does not have any because guests were allergic to feathers. We nagged again and eventually they found 2 feather pillows. As mother instance was that there was no shower mat in the shower. Again we had to nag for one. Then the food in the restaurant was poor and lukewarm when it was served. Melia seemed to have deteriorated.
Great location, clean and modern, Sky Bar, able to check in early (for a fee)
The hotel is situated in an excellent part of the city with the waterfront a very short walk away. Good carparking close be and a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Check in was excellent, the room very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the additional 360 sky bar a great place for us on Saturday night. Checkout was as efficient and as friendly as the check in.
