Great pub, food and service - staff were excellent
Not the fault of the property but we stayed in a heat wave and the window did not open much, they did provide a fan on asking but the room was 31 degrees which meant a very hot night and not much sleep.
Die Reklamation des Loft wurde komplikationslos geregelt.
Barservice, Housekeeping und Frühstücksstaff war so, wie es wünschenswert ist - super freundlich.
Wir durften die anderen schönen Zimmer anschauen und die freistehenden Badezuber bewundern.
Die Frühstückskarte bot eine große Auswahl an Eiergerichten und Bowls - bisschen viel Mayonnaise bei den Egg Benedict.
Bei der Reservierung des Loft war nicht klar, dass der Platz zwischen dem riesigen Bett (2 x 2) und der Wand sehr knapp war. Die gegenüberliegende Seite war nur durch Rüberklettern zu erreichen.
Für uns daher ungeeignet.

We tried to cancel, emailed and made numerous phone calls. Told this to booking.com, then you weren’t answering your calls or emails to them. Only for you to reply to our emails 24 hours before we were due to arrive ensuring that we lost our money.
Bitterly disappointed with this as the accommodation came highly recommended to us as did the restaurant, where we wanted others to joins us fir an evening meal and breakfast
Terrible front of house not answering the phone or returning emails for a long time.

A very nice atmosphere with very helpful and friendly staff.
The private bathroom inc toilet facilities were not private enough.
Staff were exceptional friendly and couldn't do enough
The room wasn't as clean as should be found a bit of glass by the bed and old bit of paper so wasn't hoovered properly.

Location and the room
Our room was really special and the staff could not have been more helpful particularly Etaine (?) the duty manager who was super kind helping me get back some lost property.
The food was also exquisite especially as our dietary requirements ( plant based ) were catered for so well. Thanks chef !

Beautiful property, the room was gorgeous and decorated to high standard with very comfortable bed, duvet and pillows. The staff both in the evening and in the morning for breakfast were super helpful. The food was delicious with high quality ingredients. A perfect stay. Would love to return
Nothing, the road outside was a little busy but only noticed because we kept the window open through the night

Very comfortable well presented room, comfortable bed (very plump pillows), coffee machine, choice of herbal and Earl Grey teas but no normal black tea which was a shame. Fresh milk was available from a small cupboard on the landing which also housed an iron and board. It had a very good restaurant and the included breakfast was 1st rate. Very convenient for the town.
Only minor things that could be improved.
The glass screen and door to the toilet/shower room (although reeded glass so not totally transparent) allowed you to see that there was a person using the room especially sitting on the toilet, not a problem for us and maybe fine for most couples but it was also very visible to anyone entering the room as right by the door.
Sadly my very good breakfast got cold quickly due, I believe, to being served on a cold plate.
The friendliness of the staff
The room was tired with paint peeling off the walls and lights stuck in with blue tack which felt unsafe!!
