Stayed a few times seems to change ownership each time. But value for money lovely location near the marina plenty of eat/drink places
Quite warm during heatwave and the rooms have no air-conditioning just a small fan. Only 2 teabags/coffee
Location next to Portishead Marina was excellent with easy access to restaurants, bars and walks around the headland

An excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and a good shower. I was on the third floor so I'm pleased there is a lift. A good view over the Marina.

Room extremely hot even with the fan provided, the curtains are too small and let in too much light
Location is fabulous and for the price it’s just fine. Parking at Lidl’s and registering your plate with them is easy and super handy than having to do papers or find parking wherever on the street. The views are mixed from the rooms: either you see Lidl’s top or the hotel next street. I prefer the hotel next street because each morning I was hearing all Lidl announcements :)))) Overall it was clean and nice, daily housekeeping which we didn’t expect, nothing out of the ordinary.
1. The shower. I can’t stress this enough: put an actual wired shower please. There’s only a shower head fixed on the wall and for the life of me people need to was properly on all parts of their bodies :))
2. The lack of wardrobe. The room is very spacious, a small wardrobe would definitely fit in there, I can send you ikea links :)) please put a wardrobe in.
3. Now a night stand wouldn’t hurt either. And sockets near the bed…
Excellent budget hotel with helpful staff.

The Go2 Portishead Marina was an Ibis until recently. The car park still has the Ibis signage. Getting to the car park was confusing. Below the hotel is a Lidle superstore and you park at the Lidle car park.
Once you enter the hotel, you give your car registration number.
Check in was quick and easy. The room was that of a budget hotel. A double bed, a small television. There was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities.
It was a hot day so I was glad that the window opened a little. The wifi was fast enough but you had to keep connecting.
The bathroom was compact and functional.
Overall, this was a decent budget hotel. The big plus was the location. Easy to get to Bristol and being able to walk to Portishead marina.
Great staff
Location very good, handy for the marina area , restaurants etc. However next to a Wetherspoons pub that was open until 1 a.m. and very noisy. Free parking.
Tiny room with no air con and with a window that barely opened. We stayed during the recent heatwave so it was unbearably hot. A fan was provided but it was not sufficient. Because of the noise outside as previously mentioned we ended up having to shut the window making things even worse. Very basic with no hairdryer, no hand towels, no bedside table.
