Cons:

We had a dog it was too hot, she struggled with heat so did we, window would not open wide, fan not good enough, had to check out straight away

Go2Portishead Marina Hotel is a great base to explore Somerset
Pros:

Location was perfect. Clean, comfortable and affordable room with view over marina.
Everything you needed. Shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and free parking. Public transport was helpful. Either in to Bristol or along the coast to Clevedon and Weston.
Being on the England Coast Path was another bonus so used this as a good base to walk each day knowing I could get back relatively easy.

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like about this hotel.
Was going to stay a third night but they had sold out and didn’t save my room for me or let me know in advance even though they were aware.
I would however recommend staying in Portishead as it’s a destination that has everything for a fabulous staycation and more.
