Most staff were great but we were denied early access to the room even though multiple rooms of the same were available

Pros:

It is a 5-start hotel and the stay feels like it. The room was huge, very comfortable. There's a yukata other than the bathrobe, so no need to bring a sleepwear. Nice to experience a wooden tub. High-tech Japanese toilet. Food was great. Swimming pool is warm. It is connected to other establishments within Newport, so many food options and can easily go to the mall. Staff is great, very helpful. Must try to eat in Yawaragi, Yamazato and try their afternoon tea. The food served at the pool bar was great too.

Cons:

We wanted to stay longer, but it is expensive. The room is spacious, but there is no work table. The window is huge, but the view isn't that great because there's a construction outside. The curtain covers the view and gives a cozy ambience or a total blackout. Good thing we cannot hear any noise inside the room.
