Leaving
Elevator was dirty, pool was dirty, lights didn’t work. Other guests were extremely loud all night.
Good breakfast, nice room
The bed squeaked when you moved or turned over
Great restroom and shower. It was low noise and comfortable bed.
The room had a bad smell and the table and floors were a bit dirty. I had to buy room spray to get rid of the smell and disinfectant to clean the room table surface.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the breakfast during my recent stay. While the meal was okay overall, it was noticeably greasy and not quite what I’ve come to expect from La Quinta. I’ve always appreciated the consistency and quality of your breakfasts, so this experience felt a bit below the usual standard.
I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be reviewed and hopefully improved for future guests.
When I arrived, I discovered that the TV in my room was broken. No one informed me of this beforehand, which would have given me the opportunity to decide whether I still wanted to stay. It felt misleading to find out only after checking in. I emailed the manager about the issue but never received a response.
I also witnessed something concerning during my stay. The day staff allowed individuals who appeared to be homeless to enter the building and remain around guests, which made the environment uncomfortable. My floor (4th) looked like it was for extended homeless stay people. In contrast, the gentleman working the late-night shift did an excellent job keeping the premises secure and ensuring that only guests were inside. He responded to my concerns immediately and handled the situation professionally.
The next morning, when I spoke with the woman at the front desk about my TV issue, she was not as understanding and initially gave me the runaround. Eventually, she did provide me with another room, but the interaction added to an already frustrating experience.
Despite these issues, I want to note that I really do like the area where the hotel is located. I hope these concerns can be addressed so that future stays are more positive.
Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback.
Sincerely, Terrence
