Ein schönes, etwas besonderes Hotel.
Pros:

Interessantes Hotelkonzept, schön renoviert und mit einem besonderem Charme. Zimmer absolut ok, Wellnessbereich ebenfalls sehr schön. Gleich gegenüber liegt die bekannte Burganlage mit Restaurant, das ich am Abend genutzt habe. Am Morgen hatte ich dann noch Zeit, die Burg zu besichtigen, die auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert ist.

Cons:

Es gibt unmittelbar am Hotel keine Parkplätze, aber es gibt ein kleines Stück oberhalb eine öffentliche Stellfläche. Dort steht das Auto aber unbeaufsichtigt. Und man muss einige Treppenstufen sein Gepäck tragen, oder man nimmt einem Umweg über die Straße. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass es wirklich Einfluss auf das Gesamtpaket dieses Hotels hat, man sollte es nur wissen, dass man eben nicht direkt vor dem Haus das Auto über Nacht abstellen kann. Ob es neben dem Restaurant in der Burg noch andere Restaurants in Fuß-Weite gibt, kann ich nicht sagen, die Dame an der Rezeption hat mir nur dieses nach meiner Anfrage gesagt. Es hatte auch nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet. Das sollte man einplanen.

Sehr schönes Hotel-generell gut es fehlt aber an den kleinen Dingen die einen Aufenthalt perfekt machen.
Pros:

Zimmer sehr schön, Bett sehr bequem, Frühstück sehr gut. Lage sehr gut.

Cons:

Im Bad keine Artikel( wie Wattestäbchen,Pads etc bin ich von Hotels dieser Preisklasse gewohnt) ausser Handseife und Duschgel/Shampoo, Taschentücher. Keine Minibar oder Kühlschrank. Kein Wasserkocher oder Kaffeemaschine. Eine kleine Flasche Mineralwasser ist da zu wenig. Check out um 10.00 knapp . Gästeparkplatz war auf einem Schild erwähnt aber danach nicht zu finden.

Old fam building tastefully converted
Pros:

It is obviously the old farm building from Schlaining castle converted into a hotel. Pretty tastefully renovated. The rooms are kind of spartan but have everything you need. An ok place to stay overnight. Breakfast is nice and you can sit in the courtyard depending on the weather.

Empfehlenswert aufgrund der Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete, zentrale Lage (gegenüber der Friedensburg) und ist daher beim Besuch von Veranstaltungen dort optimal. Sehr gut finde ich auch den Parkplatz oberhalb, obwohl der kurze Fußweg zum Hotel relativ steil ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (ich musste nach dem Auschecken nochmal ins Zimmer). Mineralwasser am Zimmer, Frühstück gut sortiert.

Cons:

Die meisten Zimmer sind leider nur über diverse Stufen erreichbar (ein Treppenlift vorhanden, sollte man beim Buchen bereits berücksichtigen). Was mir auch gefehlt hat, war eine Kühlmöglichkeit für Getränke oder ein Wasserkocher, was in vielen Hotels bereits Standard ist.

Das Hotel macht von außen einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Eindruck. Die Lage ebenso. Die Innenausstattung auch.

Cons:

Die Rezeptionistinnen sind teils recht emotionslos.Unhöflich ist das falsche Wort aber freundlich und voller Elan bedeutet eben etwas anderes. Die Zimmer könnten aus dem Minimundus entstammen sie sind schön eingerichtet jedoch winzig ohne Kühlschrank für zb. Leute die auf gekühlte Medikation angewiesen sind was Standart in jedem Hotel heutzutage ist.Es gibt im Zimmer keinen Schrank nur einen Kleiderbügel dies sind Punkte die das Zimmer zu einer sehr schönen und sehr sauberen Abstellkammer formen.Weiters sieht das Frühstück zwar zuerst gut aus jedoch ist die Wurst bestimmt aufgetaut da sie nicht sehr Wohlschmeckend ist und bei vollem Betrieb kann es schon einmal sein das man 10 Minuten für einen Kaffe anstehen muss da nur eine Maschine zur verfügung gestellt wird.Es ist Nörgeln auf hohem Niveau aber für einen solchen Preis bekamen wir schon deutlich bessere Speisen zu Morgendlichen stunden in so manch anderen Hotels.
