If you want to stay in the thick of it in the Dontonbori, this is the place! A short walk from the Namba Station - be prepared for walking down busy and narrow streets - I was concerned it would be noisy, but I need not have feared. We requested a higher floor (which we got) and it was pretty quiet, certainly after 10pm when everything was shutting down but really, if you are going to stay in the middle of everything you should expect to hear some city sounds.
The rooms were well appointed, they had funny pillows we had not seen before but they were actually really comfortable, and the towel service was excellent and appreciated given the extreme heat and need for multiple showers a day. The rooms were well appointed. The rooms had real windows you could see out of, greatly appreciated in such small spaces.
The laundry was very clean and a late check-out (for a small and very reasonable fee) and bag storage were excellent.
We booked two rooms - 1 x 2 people, 1 x 1 person - we should have compared rooms ourselves before we opened our bags and then could not be bothered moving as the room the single traveller got was considerably bigger than the one for two people which was very hard to maneuverer in, by far the smallest of all the small rooms we had on our whole holiday, it was impossible for the person who had the wall side of the bed to get out without waking the other. This could have been avoided by more careful room allocation, staff must know what rooms are bigger. That said, the room was fine, we were barely there, more an observation. A further reminder for people to NOT travel with huge suitcases, once again we were grateful for our smaller bags.
Die Lage war wirklich perfekt, wir kamen abends in Osaka an und wollten am nächsten Morgen von Namba aus nach Koyasan. Das Ausgehviertel ist wirklich beeindruckend und man ist sofort im vollen Leben mit schöner Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer ist recht klein, aber schön und praktisch gestaltet. Die Betten waren gut und das Frühstück war Klasse.
Schade war nur, dass wir unser Gepäck nur bis Mitternacht in den vielen Lockern, die am Eingang waren, hätten unterbringen dürfen, hier wäre wegen Koyasan eine 24 std Regelung besser gewesen. Aber alles in allem ein stimmiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I’d dropped a gummie before customs , kicked in hard on the train , by the time I reached the room I felt like a giant in a new universe Was fine by the morning - adjusting to Japan size
All staff were friendly & helpful. Perfect location. Breakfast was very good.
As I'm a vegetarian. There are not many options for me. We stayed in the biggest room but still so small, beds were not comfortable.

Amazing location right in the heart of Dontonburi, so easy to get to places, short walk to the trains and konbini's very close. Delicious ramen restaurant just outside the building. Nice variety of food for the buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean and had good amenities.
The room is very small, maybe that's normal for Japan but was the smallest we stayed in. Luckily they had space under the bed for us to put our cases otherwise we would have struggled. We decided that the location made up for the small room as we didn't spend much time in the room and despite the size was comfortable and had everything we needed.
