Pros:

Wunderbares Zimmer. Excellente Lage direkt am Bf Haymarket, alle Verkehrsmittel vor der Tür. Pubs und shops sowieso. Super Wohn- Konzept mit gemeinsamer Küche und Lounge im Erdgeschoss. Gratis Kaffee, sehr lecker! Schnelles, stabiles WiFi. Check In sehr easy, Konzept mit PIN auch prima.

Cons:

Nur wenig: Das Bett war ziemlich schmal als Doppelbett. Sichtschutzrollos könnten besser sein. App zum Türöffnen und Check Out funktionierte nicht.

War im Souterrain, roch feucht und direkt neben dem Fenster waren die Abfallkübel. In der zwiten Nacht mit Abfall oben drauf. Also fertig mit Lüften.

Location excellent, clean rooms and lovely common area

Cons:

No air-conditioning, no iron, no body lotion in the washroom and no grills on the windows so I did not feel safe keeping the windows open for air circulation.

Muy lindo la casa, muy generosos en la oferta de cafe, frutas. Poder comer ahi si uno quería comprar algo y disponer de un lugar de estar.

Baño muy incomodo. Muy pequeño! La habitación en el ultimo piso, muy calurosa. No hubo ningun movimiento de limpieza en los cuatro dias que estuvimos,nide hacer la cama. Nos gusto, pero fuera de estos inconvenientes

WARNING: WORST ACCOMMODATION EXPERIENCE EVER – BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE

Cons:

To summarise, these are the conditions considered “acceptable” by the Joivy staff:
- The room had not been cleaned prior to check-in — traces from previous guests were everywhere, including an uncleaned shower and dirty wine glasses.
- No clean sheets on the bed.
-Extensive mould throughout the room, especially in the extremely small bathroom.
- Pubic hair from previous guests left in the bathroom.
- Heavy dust, dirt, and cobwebs on the walls throughout the room.
- Bed and chair heavily worn and covered in disgusting stains and bodily fluids.
- TV not functioning, not properly installed, and apparently broken.
- No reception desk or any possibility to speak to someone in person. Only rude and dismissive WhatsApp customer service responses.
- Only one roll of toilet paper provided, with no prospect of receiving more (for a 4-day stay).
-The room is unbearably bright at night due to a neon-green emergency exit light above the door, making sleep impossible.
- The refrigerator in the room makes loud noises throughout the night, again making sleep impossible.
- The carpet is damaged, and silverfish coming out of the gaps.
- A strong unpleasant smell throughout the room and especially bathroom.
- The ceiling above the shower is damaged and crumbling down while showering.
- The shower door is broken and cannot be closed.
- The tiny kitchenette had not been cleaned and still contained leftovers from previous guests.
- Multiple requests for additional cleaning were refused by management.
- The accommodation looks absolutely nothing like the picture
- And all of this for more than £200 per night.
- To summarise more than 2.5 hours spent waiting in Booking.com support queues, promised callbacks from supposedly responsible staff never taking place, dismissive and at times outright rude treatment by Joivy staff.
- No help from booking either.
- Think about this before you book...
