Location, size of the room and the bathroom , the breakfast and the amazing staff, especially in the dining room.
On our last night, a terrible smell came out from the bathroom.

בנסיעה זו, פקידי הקבלה לא תמיד היו מסבירי פנים בלשון המעטה…. משום מה הוחלף הצוות מפעם קודמת, והנוכחי לא נחמד, לא מקצועי. בפעמים שפנינו אליהם, נדמה היה שהערנו אותם, מפריעים להם באמצע התכתבות בניידים, או בשיחה ביניהם. בהחלט חוויה שבגללה נשקול האם לחזור למלון בפעם השלישית!!!
הצוות היה מאד מאיר פנים ומסייע.
Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war insgesamt positiv, dennoch gab es einige Punkte, bei denen die tatsächliche Erfahrung meiner Meinung nach nicht ganz mit dem Anspruch und dem Preisniveau eines Fünf-Sterne-Hotels übereinstimmt. Genau darum geht es mir in dieser Bewertung: weniger um die allgemeine Qualität des Aufenthalts, sondern vielmehr um das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Zunächst möchte ich das Personal hervorheben. Sowohl beim Check-in als auch generell während des Aufenthalts waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt und der Service war angenehm professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken.
Die Lage des Hotels würde ich mit 9/10 bewerten. Man befindet sich nur wenige Minuten von Monastiraki entfernt und kann Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Plaka, Anafiotika oder die Akropolis bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Die unmittelbare Straße selbst wirkt allerdings optisch nicht besonders ansprechend, was den Gesamteindruck etwas schmälert.
Die erste negative Kleinigkeit fiel mir direkt bei der Ankunft auf: Die Türgriffe der Zimmer sind so konstruiert, dass man sich je nach Handposition relativ leicht die Hand einklemmen kann – was mir tatsächlich passiert ist. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie war das kein besonders guter erster Eindruck.
Im Zimmer merkte man insgesamt stark den Versuch, ein modernes und futuristisches Konzept umzusetzen. Teilweise wirkte das für mich allerdings etwas mehr „schiki-miki“ beziehungsweise pseudo-futuristisch als tatsächlich funktional. Besonders die Steuerung von Licht, Klima und anderen Funktionen war unnötig kompliziert und nicht besonders benutzerfreundlich. Nach einer langen Reise möchte man nicht erst mehrere Minuten brauchen, um alles zu verstehen oder zusätzlich eine App herunterladen müssen.
Die App selbst war grundsätzlich okay, wenn auch optisch nicht besonders modern. Die langsame Reaktionszeit der Befehle war allerdings etwas frustrierend.
Hele mooie kamer. Hotel ligt op 3 minuten lopen Monasteraki. Vriendelijke nacht receptionist. Aanrader!
