Lovely inner city hotel with kind staff and quiet rooms. Good breakfast too.

Pros:

Location is excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Twin single beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Room was very dusty. Used hair dryer in bedroom only to have lots of dust balls falling off the shelves above the tea & coffee cabinet. Bed backboard was also layered in dust. Only one towel each provided is a bit mean considering the accommodation price.

Cons:

Room is so small, after separating the queen bed, there was even no space to walk.

Toilet sink is dirty, a big area of yellow staining. Water Tap was so long and couldn’t be move, when wash hands and face, the water splashed out.

The second day and third day, no face towel and math mat applied.

Room had a melted smell, had to ask the cleaner to spry air fresher.

Bath room door easily opened to two sides, could not be closed properly. The water went out and made the toilet all wet.

Poor soundproofing, can clearly hear the talking from the corridor and the sound of shutting door.

Very loud noise from the bar opposite the street. The second day, had to hear the loud deep bass and people yelling until 6-7:00 in the morning.

Loved the rooms, would stay again, but they need to improve on cleaning, and maintenance.
Pros:

The rooms were excellent, the fit out and interiors were great. Loved the views in the corner room. Location was excellent for what our agenda was, which was to attend a fashion show for M/FW at the Immigration Museum just around the corner. The staff were attentive to our many requests for help. Breakfast was great too.

Cons:

They weren't that great at servicing the rooms each day, quite short staffed. The guy that did come and quickly service the room had really strong body odour that lingered in the room for a long while. There was one day when our 2 rooms were not serviced. The following day I had to ask at around 2:30pm if they would be serviced. The last day I didn't bother asking and just put up my do not disturb sign. The Phone in the room wasn't working. I mentioned this to them and they said they sent someone up to fix it. It hadn't been fixed, so i mentioned it again. It wasn't until the 3rd time i mentioned it that they came upstairs with me to change out the unit. They were attentive but it was clear they were a bit short staffed.
