Perfect stay in the heart of Rosebank
Pros:

All: facilities, rooms, atmosphere, cleanliness, breakfast and the beautiful Proud Mary restaurant & bar with an exceptional atmosphere all along day and night. Very friendly and efficient staff. Perfect place where to stay in Rosebank, either alone, in couple or in family, regardless of age category. We really enjoyed and appreciated our one week stay.

Cons:

We still rated 10 despite a very unpleasant and incredible situation with one of the staff at checking-out. Fortunately, it was eventually genuinely corrected by the manager in charge. It was a real pity, but this would not be fair to do downgrade our overall experience just because of this sad mishappening.

Great location for a single traveller as it felt very safe. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars too
Pros:

Everything about the Hotel was fantastic. Location was superb as there was a shopping centre nearby, lots of restaurant's/cafes to choose from and it felt a safe area also.

Could not fault the food at the Proud Mary Restaurant and the bar was great too.

L'hôtel Hype est très bien placé. Notre chambre était spacieuse et très confortable, machine expression, thé a disposition en chambre. Le petit déjeuner est très copieur.
Le personnel est charmant et à l'écoute, malgré notre anglais basic.
Le restaurant propose des plats très variés et à prix raisonnables.
Mais vous avez une multitude de restaurant autour de l'hôtel et des centres commerciaux.
Vous pouvez faire appel au service voiturier un plus pour 100 rands soit 5,50 € la nuit.

10/10 experience - best hotel in Johannesburg
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and accommodating and we always felt safe. It was my birthday and Tamara and her team gifted us a room upgrade and bottle of wine then came down to check on us the next day when we were leaving as it was only a short trip. The food and coffee were also delicious and the gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve been to.

Cons:

Honestly no notes.

Todo perfecto. La localización, el servicio, el desayuno, los detalles…y por supuesto el interiorismo. The place to be.

Cons:

Creo que podrían mejorar la calidad de las toallas, en un hotel de ese nivel me parecieron bastante flojas, la verdad.

Pros:

Spacious rooms, good restaurant, safe area to walk

Cons:

Only minor but we had a fair bit of wind noise being 9 stories up (it was bad weather)

Pros:

The staff was exceptional and made me feel welcome and safe. The location was so convenient near the Gautrain and shopping centre. Room was fantastic, huge and comfortable with great views. We stayed there 3 times during g our travels throughout ZA and it was a wonderful experience.

Pros:

Perfect location. There is mall 2steps from the hotel. Very safe location. The restaurant by the hotel called Proud Mary is an absolute gem! Amazing cocktails and spectacular food. Hats down to the food quality and the taste!
