Pros:

The restaurant was beautiful with tall trees growing inside. We only tried the breakfast which was delicious. Nespresso machine with milk warmer and snacks was a nice touch. Our room was also beautiful as was the whole building.

Cons:

The location was off a big street with busy vehicle traffic. Our room was relatively quiet but next to a primary school. It didn’t bother us at all but late risers might be. Parking was limited in the back but we were traveling in September so it was never a problem. The entrance to the parking is a narrow alley on the side with a traffic light that never changed to direct the traffic entering/ exiting so it was a little scary.
Our room only had a heating unit at the entry so the heat did not spread well to the rest of the high ceiling room. Wouldn’t recommend for winter.

Amazing retreat
Pros:

Amazing location, great boutique energy felt so curated! Amenities were lovely. Loved that we could order coffee to our room, and if we had wanted to there was space to cook.

Rerehua!!!
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel, exceeded any expectations I had. Staff were lovely and so easy to check in/out plus parking out the back was handy.
We stayed in the Sacristy 2-bedroom apartment, perfect for our group of 3 adults and 1 pēpi.
Breakfast was stunning at the Ada Restaurant.
I feel so lucky and grateful to have stayed somewhere so ātaahua.
I hope to visit more in the future!

Overall, our stay was great. Loved the uniqueness of the hotel!!
Pros:

The location was perfect for our night. Close to all the places we had to go to. If we had the time on our check out day, we would have liked to have tried the breakfast, but we will just have to come back another time.

Cons:

The bathroom area was very tight but this was to be expected with the historic building. Lighting in the room could have been a little better.

My husband and I have stayed at The Convent before - I love the quaint feel, the food is delicious!
Pros:

Location was perfect. We were travelling with family who were attending the All Blacks game at Eden Park, so it was very handy.
Staff were fabulous and we had the room with the balcony, which was fabulous.

Cons:

Our daughter, son-in-law and two year old had a standard room. Unfortunately, it was not large enough for their needs with a two year old. Fine for a couple, but not if you have an infant.
