Unique, classy building in a favourable location
Pros:

Very unique building to stay in and full of interesting quirky features. It was also clean and well kept.
We were pleasantly greeted by the man at reception and he gave useful directions about where to park.
It was a really quick drive away from Ponsonby where you will find loads of eateries and a range of unique shops.

Cons:

I wasn't very impressed with the shower - the shower rose is about 7 ft up so you feel a gentle trickle of water rather than proper pressure.
The bed was a bit hard for my liking.

Pros:

Lovely historic building tastefully renovated.
Pros:

Friendly staff, handy location to shops and Eden Park. Quaint furnishings and fabulous Ada Restaurant.

Cons:

Historic windows can be hard to open/draughty. But air conditioning, panel heater and blanket more than sufficient!
