Terrible experience, arrived in the middle of the night and spent the next hour fighting with the guy at the reception and trying to find a cash machine. They have this weird rule about a cash deposit of 150 eur for ppl from Berlin; even though I showed proof of address in Switzerland, because I hadn’t changed my address on booking after moving from Berlin, I hadn’t to pay that deposit (cash only). And I was not offered a receipt even after asking for one.

Super Adresse für einen Kurzbesuch in Berlin
Pros:

Das Zimmer war modern und ausreichend groß. Die Dusche ist etwas größer, der Wasserdruck gut und das Bad allgemein sehr sauber. Der Frühstückssaal hat eine gute Größe und das Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung. Es gibt geschätzt ca. 15 - 18 Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage; das Auto steht sicher, auch wenn es etwas teurer ist (20€ am Tag). Sehr gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Restaurants und Kiosk in direkter Nähe.

Cons:

Das Zimmer kann nicht so gut abgedunkelt werden. Eine weitere Steckdose, sodass jeder eine an seiner Bettseite hat, wäre gut gewesen.

Die Lage ist super, direkt an der U-Bahn.

Cons:

Der gesamte Flur der Etage inkl. der Zimmer hat sehr stark nach Schweiß gestunken. Selbst nach mehrstündigem Lüften mit offenem Fenster kam keine Besserung. Sauber war es leider auch nicht gerade.
Wir hatten das Frühstück dazu gebucht, leider war das Buffet sehr eingeschränkt. Das Frühstück ging bis 10uhr, als wir um 9.20uhr nach Brötchen fragten, da diese leer waren, hieß es wir könnten doch einfach Brot essen.

Das Hotel und Zimmer ist sauber. Das Frühstück ok.

Leider hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns überhaupt nicht gepasst.

Wir haben für eine Nacht im Dreibettzimmer inklusive Frühstück rund 420 € bezahlt – vermutlich aufgrund des Bruno-Mars-Konzerts im Olympiastadion. Für diesen Preis hätten wir jedoch einen deutlich höheren Zimmerstandard erwartet.

Wir reisen regelmäßig in Städte wie München, Wien oder Berlin und haben dort für vergleichbare Preise bereits wesentlich hochwertigere Hotels erlebt. Umso überraschter waren wir, als wir gesehen haben, dass die regulären Zimmerpreise offenbar bei etwa 140 € pro Nacht liegen. Dadurch entsteht leider der Eindruck, dass bei Großveranstaltungen extrem hohe Aufschläge verrechnet werden – was sich als Gast nicht besonders fair anfühlt.

Grundsätzlich war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns enttäuscht. Künftig werden wir wieder verstärkt unsere bevorzugten Hotels buchen und – wenn möglich – direkt beim Hotel statt über Buchungsplattformen reservieren.
