I didn’t stay, nasty
Pros:

I did not like it at all, I did not stay requested a refund and haven’t gotten it yet

Cons:

Rooms were nasty and dirty, people who were actually living there had the whole hallway and room smelling like a bathroom

Water Walk needs help...

There was nothing that made this hotel spectacular.

Cons:

We encountered a highly unsatisfactory experience. Prior to our scheduled arrival, we received a call informing us of staffing shortages, rendering a 3 PM check-in unfeasible. We were also advised of a laundry backlog, potentially leading to a shortage of towels upon our arrival. I inquired about the security of our reservation and was assured it was intact, prompting us to adjust our travel plans for a later arrival.

Approximately an hour into our journey, a different staff member contacted us to inform us that our reservation had been canceled due to our state of origin. This trip had been planned well in advance, and this issue had never previously arisen. This policy appeared to be reminiscent of procedures implemented during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Upon referencing the earlier call, we were then informed that an exception would be made for our stay.

Upon our arrival, I observed that the guest preceding me in the check-in process was also from the same state and was successfully checked in. This observation was noted. We were subsequently provided with our room keys. The hallway was notably unclean, the room itself was unkempt, and the sheets exhibited staining. Given that I spent a total of six hours in the room due to prior engagements including a comedy show, a casino visit, and church, I did not formally lodge a complaint. My family occupied the room for a longer duration, and their needs may have differed. We hold the Water Walk in RDU in high regard; however, this particular Water Walk location falls significantly short of the standards set by its sister property.

I stay here for convenience, staff is always amazing but house keepers not so much.
Pros:

Staff was amazing as always

Cons:

Again, sorry sheets, floor not swept dirt and other things all over floor.
No shampoo or body wash on the shower, empty.
Half a roll of toilet paper no more, hair in the shower when I arrived

Pros:

The staff was nice, and it was cheap.

Cons:

Do not be fooled by the pictures! It is not nearly as nice as it looks; it is very run-down, and the rooms were not clean. There were stains on the floor, and the place smelled like weed the entire stay. It is a mix of residential and part-time visitors and did not seem like a safe place.
