Nice accommodation right in the city center.
Pros:

In the heart of the city, within walking distance of the parliament, the mint, and major attractions. Efficient air conditioning. Convenient underground parking.

Modernes Apartment, Top-Lage, Restaurants fast vor der Tür – perfekter Ottawa-Spot mit Komfort.

Super modernes, helles und sauberes Apartment – eher stylische Wohnung als langweiliges Standard-Hotelzimmer.
Die Küche ist richtig praktisch, wenn man nicht jeden Tag essen gehen will (auch wenn die vielen Restaurants direkt vor der Tür natürlich ziemlich verlockend sind).
Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar: mitten im Zentrum, Parliament Hill und viele andere Spots sind easy zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Haltestelle vom Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus war auch in der Nähe (5 Gehminuten entfernt).
Essen gehen? Kein Problem – von schnellem Streetfood bis zu richtig guten Restaurants ist alles gleich um die Ecke.

Das Personal war entspannt, freundlich und hilfsbereit – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht.

Was uns besonders gefallen hat: Man hat den Komfort eines Hotels, aber trotzdem das Gefühl, eine eigene kleine Base in der Stadt zu haben.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier einchecken. ReStays ist kein 08/15-Hotel, sondern ein cooler Ort für alle, die Ottawa erleben und dabei nicht auf Komfort verzichten wollen.

Tolle Lage, wir würden aber nicht mehr dieses Hotel wählen.
Pros:

Die Lage war wirklich super und das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet. Sauberkeit war top! Es wurde jeden Tag das Zimmer gereinigt. Auch die Ausstattung war toll.

Cons:

Die Lautstärke des Aufzuges war wirklich unangenehm, man hört gefühlt den Aufzug Ton vom ganzen Haus im Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig, man hört jede Türe beim auf und zumachen des kompletten Stockwerkes. Man bekommt alles Abends/Nachts/Morgens von jedem Bewohner des Stockwerkes mit, einfach unangenehm laut.
Wir hatten ein 41 qm großes Zimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer war dafür viel zu klein und es gab auch kein Essplatz.

A very good choice for downtown Ottawa and perfect location for events at the National Arts!
Pros:

The perfect location for concerts/events at the National Arts Centre! Walk-able distance to the ByWard Market and the awesome Casablanca and Casa di Moni. Professional and super friendly staff, very clean, big bonus points for the laptop safe and non-carpeted bedroom. Would be a good spot for a longer stay (kitchen and washer/dryer) are a great addition to the room. Public parking lot is directly connected to the hotel.

Cons:

the mattress was a bit too soft for me but definitely not a deal breaker. There are no wall-plug option for a USB-c cable. The lamp by the bed has a regular USB plug.

Great location, nice apartment
Pros:

The location was brilliant, right in the centre moments from the parliament buildings. There’s a lounge in the 12th floor with stunning views. Apartment well set up (although if you were cooking think you might find the utensils limited eg I couldn’t find any scissors to cut off a label).

Cons:

On arrival they wanted a security deposit by credit card which is perfectly acceptable however their system had an issue and neither mine nor my husbands card would work. We were made to feel like we were the issue ‘it’s says you don’t have the credit limit’ and it was really uncomfortable until the manager came - who was lovely and said it was an issue their end and no problem.
Also once in the room, the bed was near the window and it was quite noisy also we weren’t sure whether the people in the office over the street could see in!
