A beautiful and stylish hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. We enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

The hotel is very nicely designed with lots of colors, painted walls and the overall concept with little seating areas all around the courtyard appealed to us a very much. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, the location is great and breakfast was very tasty too. We booked a larger room and enjoyed it a lot, but I will add, that due to the design of the building (and presumably many buildings in Oaxaca), there are only few windows towards the courtyard and not towards the outside, so it does feel a little contained. Which was fine for us, since we intended to spend most of our time outside anyway and the room was very stylish and a nice change for us. The bathroom was very nice as well.

Cons:

Our room must have been nearby a club or bar of sorts because on Thursday and Friday we heard loud music (mostly the bass) through the walls until about 3am. It didn't bother us too much, but it might be more of a concern to some people.

Stylish Stay, Great Vibes & Thoughtful Touches
Pros:

Had a really perfect stay here. The staff were a highlight—super welcoming, down-to-earth, and always helpful in a genuine way. A lot of thought has gone into the design concept of the entire space too; it feels super stylish, yet relaxed and luxurious all at the same time.
The room struck a nice balance between design and comfort—looked great, but also felt easy to settle into. We also really appreciated the "little touches" that went a long way such as coffee, tea, and snacks being available throughout the day. It made everything feel more homely.
The cleanliness is impeccable. The cleaning staff is really on it.
The neighbourhood is vibrant and lively, with lots to see and do nearby, which made it a great spot to stay. The complaints in comments/reviews from others about the music from neighbouring clubs being too loud is somewhat valid, but honestly, it did not affect our rest here at all.
All in all, it’s the kind of place that just feels easy yet luxurious at the same time and well put together—we will definitely come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oaxaca and the Pug Seal was the perfect spot to see this great city from.
Pros:

Cozy, well appointed, and very artistic decor. Breakfasts were great and the service is truly outstanding.

Wouldn’t change a thing!
Pros:

The property was beautifully restored and impeccably maintained. The staff was beyond helpful with wonderful attitudes. You get the feeling that they love their jobs. We were sorry to leave. Definitely recommend staying there for an amazing Oaxaca experience. The location was the best!

Can’t think of a thing. The room named Noche was perfect for us.

We enjoyed Our stay
Pros:

Absolutely stunning hotel with incredibly friendly and supportive staff. The Designs used within the Hotel are very nice and we enjoyed the great breakfast selection

Cons:

Our room was nicely decorated but space to actually store clothes or unpack the suitcase was quite limited. Also daylight was limited in the room.
